Mas de Comtessa

Mas de Comtessa is a large luxury country house with a Pigeonnier, several outbuildings and a very large heated swimming pool on 4 ha of private land. The estate borders the river Lot and is located near a cute village and not far from Saint Cirque laPopie. Due to its high location, there are beautiful views everywhere and you can enjoy nature in peace. Mas de Comtessa has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, in addition there is a -sixth- bedroom with private shower in the romantic pigeonnier (to be booked extra). The house can accommodate 10 adults (12 with at least 2 children under 5 years old).

Interior

On the ground floor:

• A traditional dining room with a beautiful original tiled floor, a wood burning stove and the still original oak beams on the ceiling.
• A living room with wood stove, comfortable chairs, TV/DVD/CD. From the patio doors you can enjoy the outdoors.
• A large bedroom with plenty of storage space, a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has patio doors leading out to the tiled terrace.

• A separate cloakroom with toilet and sink adjacent to the entrance.
• The kitchen includes a beautiful handmade stone worktop and sink. Sufficient cupboard space, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and sufficient crockery and cutlery (a washing machine in the outbuildings) are of course available.

On the first floor:

• The first floor has a large landing with comfortable seating and gives access to four bedrooms.
• Second and third bedroom (both with two single beds) share a luxurious en-suite bathroom/toilet.
• A fourth bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower/double sink/wc.
• The fifth bedroom has a double bed and a single bed with en-suite shower/double sink/wc.

The Pigeonnier (the sixth bedroom)

• This beautiful building has been transformed into a romantic residence. On the ground floor you will find tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge and bathroom with shower/WC. On the 1st floor is a double bedroom with a beautiful high oak beamed ceiling.

Outside
Through a long private driveway you reach the house and the pigeonnier. Of course there is ample parking at the house. Mas de Comtessa is surrounded by rolling lawns, forest and from your beautiful terrace you can enjoy the beautiful, large garden. Next to the tower is the ornamental garden and the 11.5m x 5m heated swimming pool with security fence. You also have a nice terrace at the rear of the house with a large dining table and chairs. Of course, there are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool. There is also a table tennis table, a bowling alley and a BBQ.

Environment
The area is very suitable for walking, cycling or horseback riding at one of the many riding schools in the area. There are plenty of activities to do, such as canoeing on the Lot and the Cele, caving, golf on the public golf course in Villefranche de Rouergue, rowing and water skiing on the "plan d'eau" of Cajarc. In short, too many to mention. A beautiful setting with all the comforts and modern facilities from which you can experience the freedom of French country life.
