Villa

Our house is large and monumental. Due to its size, sufficient distance can be maintained in the house. If someone in the group needs more privacy because they want or need to isolate themselves, this option is ideally available.

The house has two living rooms, two bathrooms and two kitchens. It is the ideal holiday home for a large family, two smaller ones, or a group of friends. The swimming pool, terraces and garden face south. Large chestnut trees guarantee sufficient shade during the often hot summers. You enjoy exclusive use of the entire site, as there are no other tenants.

We also do not use the house if we have rented it out. The house is partly 200 years old and charmingly furnished (with carefully selected items). The house has stairs and is therefore not suitable for people with mobility problems. The beds are made when you arrive and towels are provided for you.

All facilities are available in the immediate vicinity to guarantee you a pleasant stay. Within a radius of 6 to 10 km. you will find bakers, butchers, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. in several medieval villages with their weekly markets and brocantes. It couldn't be more French.

Hey! We are Jan and Els and live in Maastricht in the Netherlands. We like to be together and have fun and share our French house with our children and / or friends. In the period that we are not there, we would like to make it available to others to live like God in France and to enjoy what the area offers. Feel free to contact us to ask questions about our house, the environment and activities. We are happy to help you. Jan and Els

Location & area recommendations

Additional information

We noemen Luzech, Albas, Douelle, Saint Vincent, Prayssac. In huis is nader informatiemateriaal aanwezig
The historic city of Cahors is 20 km away from Bovila. It is a must to take the time to stroll through the medieval narrow streets and imagine yourself in other times. Free information and a city map with tips and walking routes are available at the tourist office on Boulevard de Gambetta. We recommend the walk along the hidden gardens. On Wednesdays and Fridays there is a traditional weekly market at the (otherwise beautiful) cathedral and every two weeks there is a flea market. A visit to the city is even more festive if you have a delicious lunch in one of the excellent restaurants in Cahors. We will name a few: la Balandre at Hotel Terminus, le Vieux Cahors, restaurant le Marché, les Petits Producteurs, Asian at la Balinaise, or a vegetarian lunch at restaurant Marie Colline.
