Are you looking for a real French holiday home with a beautiful view in a quiet area? Then Gite Lafurette is for you. The holiday home is located halfway up a hill in a small hamlet, with a beautiful view over a valley. It is located in the Perigord in the hilly landscape of Dordogne, Lot and Lot-et-Garonne. Below is an attractive lake (Lac de Marou) with beaches within walking distance, which is great for swimming and fishing. (see photos) The holiday home is beautifully situated in the hilly landscape between Dordogne and Lot with forests, streams and open fields. It is a typical French holiday home, built of French natural stone with a pigeonnier that has been converted into a spacious bathroom. It also consists of a living room with open kitchen, a bedroom and a separate guest room. The living room has French doors leading to a beautiful garden with terraces. The entrance is on a romantic court, shaded by a beautiful blooming Albizia. The holiday home is adjacent to a larger house that is not inhabited during your stay, but whose grounds and facilities are at your disposal (furniture, umbrellas, BBQ). Pets are welcome.
2 Km away is a nice town (Cuzorn) with a fine restaurant with a terrace above a river (La Lémance). At 7 Km is a larger town on the river Lot (Fumel) with all the amenities of a large town, such as 5 supermarkets.

In 2000 we fell for this beautiful place, the small hameau Lafurette. There was an old French farmhouse that we have restored. The characteristic French houses of natural limestone have a lot of charm and the restoration gave us a lot of pleasure and energy. Moreover, the French in the area appear to be particularly hospitable and friendly. We hope that our guests enjoy it as much as we do and that they look back with satisfaction on their stay in Lafurette.

The prices do not include final cleaning and washing bed linen, towels, tea towels.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation 3 months before the start of the rental period is free of charge.
Cancellation between 90th and 60th day before the start of the rental period 25% of the rental price.
Cancellation between 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period 50% of the rental price.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period 100% of the rental price.
