Natural beauty! One of the rivers to cool off and enjoy the unspoilt nature.
A lovely spot in the river Cesse near Mirepeisset. It is hidden so no tourists come. We have to explain how to get there.
The gorges of the Cesse. You can make beautiful walks here. This walk ends at a waterfall.
At the end of one of the walks, you will come to this place!
And there is an old Roman bridge.
The surroundings of Aigne. Nice and wonderful walking area.
Near Carcasonne is a large lake with a climbing park. A must for those who like adventure.
Minerve. A beautifully preserved ancient village with a rich history.

The Canal du Midi with all its locks, aqueducts, bridges and other places of interest. There are two booklets about the canal in the house.
The Mirepeisset acquisition. A nice walk from the parking area in front of the campsite to one of the 49 acquaducts, which are built in the canal. There is a cafe and you can cool off in the Cesse below.
Lagrasse. Village with many historic sights including this bridge.
Montouliers On the road to Bize you can turn left into the hills and you will come to this nice town with its small old castle and a ditto church. Just outside the village is a Roman well and you can walk very nicely.
Caunes - Minervois Red marble is found here. There are still working mines and works of art made of red marble along a nice walking route.
Carcasonne A medieval castle that is worth a visit.

La Clape Very beautiful natural area on the way to Narbonne - Plage.

Narbonne - Plage At the end of the beautiful drive through la Clape you come to the coast.
There is a marina between Narbonne - Plage and St. Pierre sur Mer.
The last stretch of beach in St. Pierre sur Mer. The campsite can still be seen on the left and then the pristine beach begins.

The house has two floors and several terraces.
Upper terrace A large natural stone terrace where there is still shade in the morning.
Downstairs terrace with lots of shade and a wide view
View from the terrace. Wide view and view of the swimming pool. In addition to adjustable garden chairs, we have four sunbeds and a hammock on a stand.
The 9 by 4 swimming pool is in the sun all day. The bottom slopes from the Roman steps gradually to a depth of 1.80m.

Aigne The old small center from the eleventh century, is built in the shape of a snail shell (L'esgargot)
Market in Olonzac. Every Tuesday morning there is an extensive pleasant market where many local products are sold. There is also a medium-sized Casino supermarket in Olonzac.
Local specialties on the market. There are many fruit / vegetable stalls where people sell their (bio) stuff from their own garden. You also buy the olives that only grow in this region, the Lucques.
