Old villages with their characteristic markets and imposing castles are in the immediate vicinity. Anduze, world famous for its special way of baking pots, can be reached in less than an hour. The wine regions of the five Crus of the southern Rhône area (Chateau-neuf du pape; Lirac; Gigondas; Vacqueras and Tavel ) can be visited in one day.
In the area are nice rivers (the Cèze), picturesque towns (St. Ambroix, Lussan) and numerous tourist activities.
