What a fantastic place and a beautiful calming view! Very unfortunate about the bad weather conditions, but the comfort of the house is very nice. Despite all the rain, we had a wonderful week and plan to come back again!

From mid to late September we had a wonderful holiday in Villa Comfort.

The holiday home is located a few dozen meters from a fairly quiet, sometimes somewhat busy, road.

From mid to late September we had a wonderful holiday in Villa Comfort.

The holiday home is located a few dozen meters from a fairly quiet, sometimes somewhat busy, road.
By car we could easily drive up the fairly steep driveway.

You can park the car well on the lower part, but in reverse you can also get a lot higher.
Just try it out and you can put your luggage in the garage and that saves a lot of dragging.

The house is located on a plateau of a partially excavated hill.
Very special is the front door located at the rear, which you don't use the rest of the time.

The actual front door is the garage door, which opens and closes smoothly with a remote control.
The house is well furnished and very clean, the Dutch caretaker and his wife are very friendly and helpful.
By the way, in the nearby town of Saint Ambroix, they run restaurant La Banque, where we have had a delicious dinner.

We really enjoyed being outside, in the sun or shade. Even for those who are cold, it is good to stay in the large heated swimming pool.

There is plenty to see or do in the area.
As local product lovers, we visited several traders.
Local delicacies, fromages, honey (we can recommend the miellerie at Coury),
l'huile extra virgin in Saint Ambroix and yes, the chestnut liqueur, which is also not to be sneezed at.

The nicely decorated house is in a quiet place, you can see beautiful sunsets, it's like a living painting.

Furthermore, there is a well-equipped kitchen and the house is also very easy to keep clean.
The road does not invite you to walk, so for many activities you quickly take the car.
The location of the house, against a mountain, means that nature is close by.
We have seen various birds, grasshoppers and salamanders and even heard hedgehogs.
If you look closely you can see a chapel on the left side of the mountain opposite the house, but that is not Chapelle Saint Sebastien!

It's definitely worth a fun exploration to find out what you see on that mountain!

Great beds and umbrellas that were also necessary because it was very hot. This also applied to the well-functioning air conditioning. The contact with the owners was very pleasant. In short, a holiday home where you really have a holiday.

Friends have not been able to sleep during the entire holiday because of vermin in the attic. The pool is okay and the location excellent.
Radio and TV didn't work because there was no signal (presumably because of the vermin in the attic).
When something like this occurs, a technician has to be sent.
Reception is done by a lovely man, but not technically skilled.

Really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Tip: Arrange kitchen utensils yourself, there are no products that you can use up and replenish like in some houses, except for cleaning products.

Beautiful accommodation with all comforts. Had a wonderful 2 weeks. Very large swimming pool and we also booked and used the sauna. Completely relaxed after 2 weeks back to the Netherlands.
