Chalet — Domaine de Coat Mor, Pont L'Abbé, Brittany

Welcome to our chalet, completed in 2022 and carefully furnished for a real holiday. Bright living room with comfortable sofa and TV (Chromecast), fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, ceramic hobs, built-in fridge and freezer), two bedrooms (160×200 and two beds 90×200), spacious bathroom and separate toilet.

Outside, a large south-west facing terrace awaits you — ideal for breakfast in the sun, a barbecue or stargazing in peace. In the garden lounge chairs, hammock and children's play area.

In 5–10 minutes (drive or bike via excellent cycle paths) you will find the beaches, fishing ports and market town of Pont l'Abbé. The Pays Bigouden has it all: wave surfing, sailing, shore fishing, lighthouses, cultural festivals and delicious restaurants.

We specifically chose this place in Finistère-Sud to buy our chalet because we think it's a fantastic area with many interesting cultural and sporting activities. Katell was born and raised in the area, so she is very familiar with the region, which in turn is very useful to give extra tips to the temporary residents.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
  • Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

Locronan, Locronan means place of Ronan, an Irish monk who lived here in the 5th century AD. and after whom this church is named. The houses around the square are beautifully preserved, a masterpiece of civil architecture from the 16/17th century.

Pont Aven, a beautiful village, sweetly situated on the river Aven. The village owes its name mainly to the impressionist painter Paul Gauguin, who stayed here for a long time. Dozens of galleries can be visited in the village

In CARNOËT (near Carhaix) in the valley of the saints there are 115 of these 4 meter high granite statues, each with its own story. In July and August you can see a sculptor at work.
