Le Beau Verger is a lovely detached house with stunning panoramic views and large grounds. The swimming pool with (partly shaded) terrace is wonderfully sheltered, out of direct view of the house. The house is spacious and attractively furnished. In summer, it stays cool inside , partly thanks to the shutters.
Around the house are several places to sit and relax. The house is located on the southwest, with plenty of shade under the plane tree. At the front and side you can enjoy the morning sun. In the evening, the outdoor fireplace can be lit if necessary.

The house is a great base to discover the beautiful and idyllic Drôme Provençal. The area is wonderful for cycling and walking. There are 4 bicycles with gears. There are nice places all around: Dieulefit, cozy with Friday market; a little further Nyons, Thursday market. Delicious food at noon at La Belle Epoque. The nearby medieval village of Le Poët-Laval is also well worth a visit. Montélimar is a slightly larger town nearby, with many amenities.

There is also a detached gite, consisting of a living room with kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom (approx. 40 m2) with small terrace. This can be rented for € 350 per week (2-4 beds). The gite is not rented separately.

I am Ineke Post, owner of our house in the Drôme. We bought it in 2006 from an 88-year-old German ophthalmologist, who had it built under architecture. It is solidly built with modern materials at the time. In the summer it stays cool, partly because of the shutters.
We built a swimming pool, made by a swimming pool builder from Dieulefit. Later we also built a gite. We used the house as a summer retreat from mid-April to mid-October and at Christmas.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The prices are per week, it is not possible to book less than a week.
A deposit of 50% must be paid. The cleaning costs are € 100.00, which must be paid in cash at the holiday address. Bed linen is supplied.

Cancellation policy:
If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, he must inform the landlord by e-mail.
Cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period is free of charge. Between 90 and 60 daysbefore the start of the rental period: 25%. Between 59 and 30 days before the start of the rental period 50% and 30 days before the rental period 100% of the rental price.
