The "Pays de Dieulefit" is a beautiful part of the Drôme Provençale. Le Poêt Laval is located on a slope in the beautiful valley of the river "Jabron" and has a mild micro-climate. The house is completely free with complete privacy; on a south-facing slope and surrounded by the garden that blends nicely into the landscape. The swimming pool (10x5m) is wonderfully sheltered, just below the house. The pool is 1.20m - 2.20 m. deep.
Bakery and supermarket in the medieval village of Le Poêt Laval at 1 km; The town of Dieulefit, 4 km away, has all facilities, a variety of shops, many pottery workshops and a nice market on Fridays. The larger town of Montélimar is 20 km away.
Also a great base to discover the beautiful wineries in the region via the idyllic country roads!
Facilities
The gite is a beautiful old Provencal farmhouse. On the ground floor this house has a living room, a kitchen and music room with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 4 single beds.
The whole offers sleeping space for 8 people and is tastefully decorated. A real Provencal house.
The kitchen has a gas hob and an electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. In addition, there is a large Big Green Egg barbecue available for barbeque enthusiasts.
Outside
In front of the house is a large covered terrace, with fireplace, to spend the summer evenings outside. Below the house is a large terrace located on it the large swimming pool (10x5m), the whole is located on a plot of 2 hectares.
Linen and towels are provided. Bath towels for bee. the pool does not.

Le Poêt Laval is a wonderful starting point for trips to one of the many beautiful villages and towns of the Drôme, Cotes-du-Rhône and the Vaucluse, to one of the nice weekly markets or for just a trip through the beautiful landscape of the Drôme.
The swimming pool can be used from around May to around October, depending on the weather.

There are many restaurants in the area, from a simple café to several star restaurants, with plenty of choice. Delicious regional menus. All the famous wine regions of the Côtes-du-Rhône are easily accessible such as Tricastin, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Die, Hermitage, Gigondas etc. Gastronomes and wine lovers will love the Drôme!
