From this beautiful, typical French holiday home in the Dordogne you look out over the beautiful Dordogne valley. The terrace and garden are south facing and are ideal for enjoying the sun. The pool has great  temperatures, because it can be completely closed (and also completely open)! If the weather is not so good one day (this rarely happens in this season of course...) you can still swim! The water is heated by the sun and retains its heat if you cover it completely. This romantic, very large holiday home in the South of France has a beautiful wild garden with many different flowers. It is an ideal base to discover the beautiful Dordogne and all its treasures. There are Dutch, English and French TV channels available, of course there is also WIFI.

Interior (250m2)
The large living room (60m2) and the very cozy kitchen of Tamarind are the assets of this beautiful holiday home. Prepare a meal together and enjoy the French lifestyle. The (Dutch) owner of the house has lived here for 40 years and has made this holiday home a true gem, both the garden and the house itself breathe love for the region... For spring or autumn evenings there are two stoves inside (outside is a fireplace).  There are four bedrooms, three of which are beautiful bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two single beds (80 x 190), In addition, there is an open room in the older part of the house with a bunk bed (60 x 190). This is really only suitable for children. Finally, there are two bathrooms and three toilets.

Outside
The huge 11 x 6 meter swimming pool is a real surprise. It can be used at any time and the water has high temperatures (heated by the sun and stays warm if it is well covered in the evening). As the house is located on a hill, you have a beautiful view of the valley when you sit in the garden or by the pool. Go all the way to the back of the garden because there you have a fantastic view...

Environment
The house is located in the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne, in the triangle of Montignac, Terrasson and Hautefort, many beautiful towns/castles can be visited, but it is also a very beautiful region to take long walks or have lunch in one of the fantastic restaurants of the region.

Activities
If you want to be really active, you can go to the river for a canoe trip or you can rent bikes and enjoy the surroundings by bike. Furthermore, you can go horseback riding, enjoy beautiful walks, visit famous caves, visit beautiful castles, visit charming villages and towns, etc.
