Le Figuier is a simple, charming holiday home in the Dordogne, quietly located and yet close to all the sights. The holiday home is suitable for 6 people (+ baby) and has a large fenced private swimming pool. Figuier is located in a wonderfully quiet spot, especially the garden from where you can take beautiful walks, is worth a visit. Living/dining room with kitchen corner, beams and French doors to the terrace, kitchen area equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, small bar to drink your aperitifs. There is wifi internet.
Inside
On the ground floor is the first bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. The first floor has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with a double bed and an extra bunk bed (this bedroom is super fun for children). The double bed is in a separate area but there is no door in between. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet and a shower.
Outside
The garden of the holiday home le Figuier is wonderful for relaxing. The private swimming pool is 10 by 5 meters and has a depth of 0.7m to 1.7 m. Plenty of parking, lots of fig trees, September will be making fig jam!
Environment
Le Figuier is located 2km from the center of Saint Amand de Coly. The landscape is hilly and lies on the edge of the Massif Central with altitudes between 100 and 300 m. Restaurant - bar 2km; Supermarkets for daily shopping at 5 and 8 km. The medieval town of Terrasson (8 km) is located on the river Vézère. In Terrasson you will find all the shops you need. At 5 km is Montignac, known for the Caves of Lascaux; the first caves where drawings of prehistoric man were found. Montignac is a pleasant town with many restaurants along the river and 2 supermarkets.
Activities:
Walking, cycling, horseback riding, canoeing on the Vézère. There are 6 golf courses within a radius of 50 km.
