In the forest on a narrow road is our detached holiday home of 85 m2 for 4 people.
Quiet location, surrounded by greenery. And yet only 2 km from Montignac-Lascaux. Always a place in the sun or in the shade: On the terrace at the entrance, or on the balcony (3x8 m).
Everything is on one level from the parking / entrance, only the living room is 2 steps down.
Entrance, spacious kitchen (gas stove with oven, fridge-freezer, combi oven/microwave, dishwasher, kettle, plancha, Senseo, regular coffee maker).
Spacious bright living/dining room of 35 m2 with double sliding doors to the balcony.
The balcony measures 3x8 meters and faces south. It is a nice place all day, from breakfast in the sun, to a nice drink in the evening with the sound of the crickets. The balcony is equipped with a teak garden set for 4 people, 4 adjustable garden chairs, and the necessary chair cushions.
Hallway and toilet.
Bedroom 1: 2 freestanding beds (Auping) in the size 90x200 cm, mattresses with toppers, built-in sink, fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: bed 160x200 consisting of 2 beds of 80x200 cm, which are placed directly next to each other (can also be placed as 2 single beds of 80x200), fitted wardrobes.
Bathroom with bath, separate shower, and double sink.
Garage in the basement, with space for storage of bicycles, etc. Washing machine.
Particularities:
- Fixed air conditioning (3 units: In the living room + in both bedrooms) offers a solution on the (very) hot summer days.
- Secure socket 3.7 kW in the garage for charging electric car.
- Fiber optic internet/WIFI
- Rent includes kitchen linen and final cleaning
Electricity.
The rental of the gite includes a flat rate of 15 kWh per night. In principle, this flat rate covers your normal energy consumption of hot water, lighting, kitchen appliances, Wi-Fi. The consumption above the lump sum will be settled with you at the end of your stay (subsequent calculation) at 30 euro cents per kWh. Additional consumption can be caused by charging an electric or hybrid car, charging an electric bicycle, or by frequent and/or long use of the air conditioning.
The cottage has a digital electricity meter, so you know exactly how much you are using. We will take the readings together on your arrival and departure.
(N.B. Neither in 2024 nor in 2025, none of our tenants have consumed more than the flat rate of 15 kWh per night, with the exception of those who have charged their electric or hybrid car).
