Outside the village of Marcillac, near Sarlat, in the Périgord Noir, Dordogne:
Detached holiday home ("gite") of 40 m2 for 2 people, about 200 years old, and built of natural stone.
The gite is completely independent, with total privacy, on our property, with its own access, its own terrace, its own garden and its own parking.
Layout:
Independent entrance via the terrace, living/sitting room with kitchen corner, bedroom with 2 good box spring beds in the size 80x200 cm, toilet, sink, spacious walk-in shower.
Facilities:
Kitchen area with double sink, gas stove, fridge with freezer, combi oven with microwave, kettle, plancha, Senseo and regular coffee maker.
Living/dining area with dining table, sofa, armchairs, storage cupboard.
The gite has thick walls of natural stone, and actually stays cool in the summer.
The fixed air conditioning (units in the living room and bedroom) offers a solution on the (very) hot summer days.
Fiber optic internet/WIFI.
Terrace with garden table and chairs, partly covered, the other part is under a 60-year-old vine. You look out on our sloping meadow and the edge of the forest (here you can spot deer, foxes in the evening...).
A très bientôt!
