Restored authentic old country stone property, nestled in a small hamlet in the hills above Cadouin. Beautiful views of the valleys and the forest, large heated infinity pool with electric cover, petanque court.

Entering the property through the large arched door, the eye is drawn to the stone staircase with wrought iron balustrade that leads upstairs.

Upstairs, the four bedrooms with double beds are located two to the right and two to the left of the central staircase. Each of the four bedrooms has a wooden floor and its own shower room and toilet. The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower), a flat-screen TV. In one of the double bedrooms there is also a single bed that is suitable for a child. On this level there is also an office area with a large desk.

On the ground floor, to the left of the staircase, is a very large open plan living/dining room with stone flooring and a patio door leading out to the terrace overlooking the pool and views over the valley. The dining room, with a long solid wood table, has pale-colored walls and attractive artwork. On the lower level is a living room with comfortable sofas grouped around a large coffee table, warm-toned walls and a stone fireplace, ideal for escaping with a good book, a piano to the left of the living room.

Returning to the dining room, the kitchen is located at the rear by a large stone arch. The kitchen, also with a stone floor, has a bar with breakfast stools. A solid oak door leads to the rear of the property.

To the right of the staircase are two bedrooms with double beds, one with an en-suite shower room, a toilet, also a separate WC with sink, and the laundry room.

All in all, a beautifully appointed property offering the best of everything.

In Cadouin itself, there is a small market on Wednesday mornings, a bakery, restaurants/cafes as well as a number of small shops. For larger purchases, Beaumont du Perigord or Le Buisson de Cadouin are both a short drive away.
