We rent our ground-floor holiday home in the heart of Dordogne, located at the end of a dead-end street on the edge of the forest. The house has three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate toilet and a living room with kitchen and lounge. In the bathroom there is a sink for wheelchair users, and the spacious toilet and spacious walk-in shower are also extra useful for them. The living room and kitchen give direct access to the terrace.
The house itself is surrounded by trees, mainly oaks and olive trees. In the private garden of 35 ares you will find several shady spots to relax in the greenery. In the private garden there is a lounge set under the trees and an above-ground private swimming pool.
A little further on the domain you can use the pétanque court, the play equipment and the large swimming pool. These facilities are not private (after 5 p.m. our 2 children also dare to take a dip), although we hardly use these things ourselves. If you see us appear, it will probably be with a snack and a drink. Our chickens provide fresh eggs every day and you can also expect something from the vegetable garden.
Our house is located in Sanilhac, in the middle of the Dordogne department. This location is ideal for trips to both the north and the south, where you will find many tourist attractions!
Do you like peace, history, picturesque villages, good food and drinks, markets, nature, beautiful views, castles, breathtaking gardens and parks, adventurous trips for young and old, (water) sports, rivers, etc.? Then Dordogne is for you!
