In the middle of the forests of the Périgord Noir, less than 10 km from the famous medieval town of Sarlat de Canéda, lies Domaine de Carsac, a small and quiet park with swimming pool and tennis court. Here you will find our house Sur la Cave near the river Dordogne.
Sur la Cave is a spacious holiday home for up to 6 people and has 2 private parking spaces. Our house has several sunny terraces and a beautifully landscaped fenced garden, of approx. 300 m2. This means that you can fully enjoy your peace and nature.
There are also 2 bicycles and a BBQ in our garden house that you can use for free. You will be personally welcomed by Sylvie, who will show you around the house.
On the ground floor are the living room with a cozy sitting area and library on a wooden floor, next to it the open kitchen with a practical, partly folding dining table, suitable for 6 people. Through the patio doors you enter one of the sunny terraces from both the sitting area and the dining area. The fresh bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen. This is equipped with a spacious shower corner, large sink and toilet.
The stairs in the living room lead to a double bedroom with 2 single beds. When you open the French shutters in the morning, you look out over Domaine de Carsac. Above the kitchen is a loft with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is also a camping bed for the little ones. Optionally, you can rent bed and bath linen from us.
The interior is fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Think of smart TV, Wifi, Nespresso coffee machine, combination microwave, ceramic hob, electric heating, washing machine, ironing board/iron, hair dryer, tennis rackets, bicycles and barbecue.
Domaine de Carsac also has a lot to offer for sports enthusiasts. For example, you can make free use of the illuminated swimming pool, of approx. 15x7 meters and the tennis court (the tennis rackets are available in our house). The entire area is also ideal for many activities such as cycling, basketball, skating, hiking, running, canoeing and kayaking. The former railway lines have been adapted to good cycling and walking paths.
