  • The gîte is suitable for 2 non-smoking people, only from 16 years of age:
  • Living room with sitting area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen (together approximately 28 m2)
  • Bedroom (approximately 14 m2). The bedroom is located in the basement and in the summer nice and cool
  • Bathroom with sink and shower
  • Separate toilet
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Pets allowed in consultation (you must take care of keeping the site free of poop)
  • Use of swimming pool at your own risk
  • Private garden with views over the vineyards, garden chairs, swing bench and barbecue
  • Use of the decking terrace "Belvédère" in the shade by the pond
  • Covered private terrace at the gîte with sitting area with cushions
  • Separate barbecue terrace
  • Parking in the enclosed area
  • Laundry service for a small fee
  • Breakfast ingredients for the first morning after arrival (assorted breads, butter, 2 types of cheese, jam, yogurt, egg, orange juice, water) included in the rental price
  • Possibility for a simple 3-course meal on the day of arrival (meat, fish or vegetarian), against cash payment (€ 35,00,= per person including 1 bottle of wine for 2 people).
  • Possibly once a week a luxury 3 or 4 course dinner, (of course against cash payment). Possibility and menu choice in consultation.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

YOU CAN ONLY RENT THE GÎTE FROM 7 NIGHTS

If you want to rent for longer than 2 months, the price is negotiable.

The first day of rental is flexible, depending on your wishes and our availability. We don't have a fixed changeover day. Arrival on the first day from 4:00 pm.

The end day is after 7 or more nights. Departure time on the last day no later than 11.00 am.

All prices mentioned INCLUDE:

  • Breakfast for the 1st morning
  • Bed linen
  • Towels
  • Bath towels
  • Bathrobes
  • Bath slippers
  • Use of Wi-Fi
  • Energy costs
  • Cleaning costs

Cancellation:

In case of cancellation, we will charge you the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation (e-mail, whatsapp) by the tenant:

  • Up to 60 days before the arrival date:

        (the deposit will be refunded in full, possibly minus administration costs)

  • In case of cancellation between 59 and 30 days before arrival:

        You pay 50% of the total rent

  • In case of cancellation between 29 and 14 days before arrival:

       You pay 75% of the total rent

  • Cancel your reservation 13 days or less in advance 

        (or if you don't show up):

        you pay 100% of the total rent

  • If you leave earlier during the rental period, you will still owe the full rental price

Additional information

Bergerac is a beautiful town on the Dordogne River. The old center has many restored half-timbered houses, shops, restaurants and some museums. And there is also a lot to see and do in the area: numerous castles, caves, the cities of Périgueux (50 km) and Bordeaux (80 km), authentic towns (including St.-Émilion), wine tastings, the easy-to-drive green cycle path along the river to Lalinde (approx. 25 km), many marked walking routes through forests, fields and hamlets.

an impression of the inside. A lovely kitchen with everything you need and enough plates, cutlery etc to not have to wash every used item all the time. The dishes can wait a while.
