FULLY EQUIPPED INDEPENDENT HOLIDAY HOME
This one-of-a-kind house offers a pleasant compromise between history (it was a watchtower in the Middle Ages), the comfort of our time, the layout of the living spaces and the quality of the materials chosen for its restoration by an architect.
It is located in a small, quiet hamlet in the "Pays des Bastides", in the Périgord Pourpre, with no direct neighbours. It offers many outdoor spaces, including a large garden and a terrace under a green roof. Due to the presence of an unprotected spiral staircase, we do not prefer to accommodate children between 2 and 10 years old - however, you can contact us to discuss this.
For babies you will find a travel cot (sheets included) that we can install in your room, a changing mat, a baby bath, a high chair with straps, baby dishes and socket covers. Please let us know so that we can prepare the equipment.
THE HOUSE: it offers a large living area with on the ground floor with a lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen area and a large dining table. For the sleeping area, you will have a double bedroom (king size bed) with en-suite bathroom and a dressing room on the ground floor, a bedroom with two single beds with en-suite bathroom upstairs and a mezzanine on which I have put a single bed that will serve either as a bench or a bed.
Upstairs, a large terrace under a green roof offers a panoramic view of nature and allows you to enjoy the shade all day long (then the sunset). It is equipped with a large table.
On the ground floor, depending on the time of day, you can choose to stand either in the patio or on the beautiful terrace in front of the house.
The TV is not connected to TV channels, but to a DVD player (wide choice of DVDs in the house). The electric car charging socket is located in the neighbouring house (easy and free access - mains socket + type 2 connector).
