Our spacious 4-5 person gîte is located in the south of the beautiful Dordogne,
France. The perfect place as there is so much to see and do here!
Walking, cycling, visiting the many markets in the area (such as the
famous Sunday market in Issegeac), beautiful villages and towns such as
Bergerac, Monpazier, Sarlat, Beaumont and Perigueux, museums, wineries,
kayaking in spring or summer, enchanting caves, aqua park and
aquarium, tree course.. and so on.

The gîte is adjacent to our farm and has a spacious kitchen, a dining room and a living room, a beautiful private bathroom, 2 bedrooms each with a bed of 160x200, in 1 of the bedrooms the bed can also be divided into 2 beds of 80x200 , there is a 1 person sofa bed and there is a camp bed for a baby. There is a large enclosed garden. You can also use the private swimming pool in good weather. Surrounded by the countryside and forests, yet you can sit on the terrace in Beaumont du Perigord within 10 minutes, or buy your fresh bread from the best bakery in the area.

Directly from the gite you can make various walks and bike rides. Around dusk you regularly see deer and if you are lucky a red deer!

In the morning, enjoy breakfast outside in the French morning sun with a view
over the hills and fields that surround the farm. With one of course
fresh eggs from our own chickens.

We are Dave and Christa and since October 2019 we live in this beautiful place. We are originally from the west of the Netherlands, but we decided to follow our dream and look for a farm in France. We visited many different regions before settling here. And that was certainly the right choice, the area is beautiful and there is so much to do and experience!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Prices include bed linen and towels. The tourist tax is also included.
We do not charge any cleaning costs but assume that you leave the house as you found it on arrival.

After booking you will receive the rental conditions. Your reservation is final after a deposit of 35% of the total rental price. You pay the remaining amount no later than 4 weeks before arrival.

When the government imposes a travel ban due to Covid-19 around your period of stay, you can cancel free of charge.

To insure other unforeseen matters, you can take out travel or cancellation insurance.
