Completely private, not overlooked, total tranquility, and arrival on any day of the week. On the edge of the Dordogne, located in the beautiful Corrèze, about 100 meters from our own house is a beautiful detached gîte in "cottage style" in which you can celebrate your holiday in peace and completely private.
Enjoy the spacious garden, and of course the terrace. The house is at the end of the dead end road, we hardly pass it and you have the place to yourself. The garden is not overlooked, and you can enjoy the sun as you wish. The garden and terrace are designed in such a way that you can find a place in the sun or shade all day long.
The first neighbors are the cows in the surrounding meadows, and you look out into the French fields from the terrace. The gîte is fully equipped and it is light and modern, but certainly also attractive because the old elements have been honored. You can stay with 2 people, but up to 6 people is no problem.
On the ground floor is the living room with open kitchen. The atmospheric wood stove provides warmth in the colder months, in addition, there are electric heaters to make it comfortable. In the kitchen you will find everything you need for a holiday with ease. A small dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, oven and microwave, plenty of crockery and cutlery.
If the weather is bad, and you have finished reading your books, you can always turn on the TV or play a game. We offer Dutch, Belgian, French, English and German channels via satellite. In and around the cottage you have access to high speed fiber optic internet.
There are 3 bedrooms, 1 of which is spacious-sized on the ground floor with a 2-person queen-size bed (160*200). The 2 other bedrooms are on the 1st floor, 1 with 2 single beds, and 1 with a double bed (160*200 which can also be made up as 2 times 1 person). The mattresses and bedding are anti-allergic. On both floors is a bathroom with toilet. The bathroom on the ground floor also has a washing machine.
The beds are made according to your wishes (single duvet or double) and of course towels and kitchen linen are provided. Please bring your own beach towels for the sun loungers. The gîte is suitable for people from about 8 years old. There is a cot and high chair available for the little ones, but there are no additional children's facilities such as stair gates, toys and the like. Unfortunately, the gîte is not accessible for wheelchair users as both entrances have some steps.
If you come alone with your partner, you will enjoy an adult-only holiday, and if you only come with your own blood, you will not have a crowd of other people's offspring. Pets are not allowed.
