Beach bungalow Atlantique, Ile de Ré

Only 400 meters from the sea and beach is beach bungalow Atlantique, suitable for 5 people plus baby up to 2 years. The beach house is spacious with a large south-facing terrace. You have sun here all day and in the evening you can enjoy a glass of wine and the barbecue. The beach house is nicely furnished and has a cozy living room with sliding doors to the terrace, fireplace and smart TV. WiFi is available for free. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, combi oven / microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The new bathroom has a rain shower, toilet, sink and hair dryer.

There are 2 spacious bedrooms in the bungalow. One bedroom with comfortable box-spring bed (160x200) and the second bedroom has 3 sleeping places, a bunk bed and a single bed. (90x200)
A cot (60x120), high chair, bath and toys are available free of charge.
All windows in the bungalow have sun protection shutters.
There is a washing machine and private parking behind a closed gate.
In the village there is a large market every morning. The market hall with fresh island products such as fish and vegetables is open every morning. There is also a supermarket, 2 bakeries for delicious baguettes and croissants, a butcher's shop, drugstore / pharmacy and various other nice shops, restaurants and bicycle rental companies.

Île de Ré is a sunny island in the Atlantic Ocean, connected to the mainland by a three-kilometre-long bridge near the city of La Rochelle in the Charente Maritime department. The island is surrounded by beautiful beaches and is also known for its calm sea, mild and sunny climate, ancient culture and of course delicious food. Île de Ré is a real cycling paradise with no less than 110 kilometers of cycle paths. Ile de Ré is 30 kilometers long and between 100 meters and 5 kilometers wide. The landscape is wonderfully flat. The cycle paths are perfectly laid out and you avoid the busy roads, especially in high season. You will pass through beautiful nature reserves such as bird sanctuaries, salt fields, vineyards, through narrow streets with beautiful flowers, along beautiful quiet coastal roads, past oyster farms, over idyllic bridges, and through picturesque villages with harbors and cozy terraces. Due to the central location of our holiday homes on the island, all 10 villages of the island are easily accessible by bike.

'Les plus beaux villages de France' includes 157 villages in France. No less than two of these 'most beautiful villages in France' can be found on the Ile de Ré. Ars en Ré is a beautiful artists' village with a pleasant harbor. The jewel of this place is undoubtedly the l'église St Etienne with its particular black and white tower. La Flotte has a centuries-old history. The Fort de la Prée and the old abbey are definitely worth a visit and then enjoy a cold drink on a terrace at the eye-catching harbor.

Wherever you are on the island, when the sun goes down you become quiet. The sunset is breathtaking. Everything on the island is immersed in a golden glow, beautiful to see.
