Les Aydons is 2km from Pied-de-Borne, where there is a restaurant and a small supermarket. You can also order bread for the next day there. Larger supermarkets can be found in Les Vans (22 km) and Villefort (10 km). Near the last town is a large lake, which you can walk around. Near this lake is the old village of Garde Guèrin with an unforgettable view over the gorges of the Chassezac after a short walk. Les Vans is a half hour drive and then you are at beautiful villages such as Naves and Banne, the caves of Cocalière and the 'bois de paolive'. You can also kayak here.
