This 8 pers. holiday home "FORMIDABLE" is located in the quietly located 4-star Villa Park DOMAINE "Les Rives de l'Ardèche", on the banks of the river Ardèche, near the cozy Vallon Pont d'Arc with the famous arch bridge.
The house is located on a very spacious plot of land of no less than 1900 m2, has a heated private swimming pool of 15 meters long and 4 meters wide with steps: the largest private swimming pool in the villa park, equipped with a safe and electrically operated cover, lighting, outdoor shower, luxurious large garden with beautiful lighting, shade houses, sun loungers and .... a wide and far unobstructed view.

All 4 bedrooms have air conditioning with remote control.

There is a luxurious extra wide covered terrace at the house, where you can sit, eat, read, drink, gas bbq and etc. all day and evening if desired. There are also 2 shade houses made, if it gets too hot for you in the sun. There are several garden sets, a lounge set, various sun loungers and an electric BBQ.

This house has a lot of luxury, has recently received a completely new interior with lots of extras everywhere, new beds with new mattresses, large TV with all Ned. and 2 Belgian channels, outdoor table tennis table, own jeu de boules court, new trampoline and other children's games.
This holiday home really has all the luxury you could wish for. Pets are not allowed, not even on request.

You can also make free use of the large SWIMMING POOL park at this villa park, a 1-minute walk away (open from the end of April to the end of September); there is also a separate paddling pool there. There you will also find 2 tennis courts, fitness equipment, basketball court, 3 bowling alleys, lounge set: nice meeting point for young and old because at the reception you can get a drink, ice cream or snack. In the high season you can pick up your baguette and croissants there on foot.

Vallon Pont d'Arc is a pleasantly busy and tourist town with many terraces, but this villa is located about 3 km from the center, on the banks of the river Ardeche, easily accessible via a staircase with about a 2-minute walk . Canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, visiting nice places and colorful markets: it's all possible here.

 Villa "Formidable" is wonderfully quiet on the edge of the villa park and is suitable for 2-8 people. The playful layout makes it suitable for a couple, a family as well as for 8 adults or, for example, 2 families.
There are 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3x a toilet, a large kitchen, spacious living/dining room with 3 sliding doors that give access to the terraces and garden. There is WIFI internet, large television with reception of all Dutch channels and 2 Belgian channels.
The master bedroom has 2 adjustable AUPING beds of 90x200; the other bedrooms each have 2 box-spring beds of 80x200 cm.

On the ground floor, the bathroom is located between the 2 bedrooms; with bath with shower, sink, toilet. In the hall a separate toilet (the 3rd in the house).
Both downstairs bedrooms have French doors, a wardrobe, Provencal shutters, curtains, bedside tables, reading lamps and a chair.

On the upper floor are another two bedrooms with 2x1 pers. beds and there is an indoor terrace. The house is equipped with heating and a fireplace.

There is a lot of canoeing in the area around Vallon Pont d'Arc; under the magnificent Pont d'Arc. You can also make a nice car trip along the "Gorges de Ardèche", a beautiful piece of natural beauty. There is plenty of opportunity to take photos or film.
There are lively markets every morning; there is a lavender museum nearby, a crocodile farm, you can go to a Nouga factory, visit beautiful medieval towns, enjoy walking and cycling, to a bamboo forest, waterfalls and do not forget to visit one of the prehistoric caves (with explanation via headphones in Dutch ), sound image: the Caverne Pont d'Arc; opened at the time. The Tour de France passes here almost every year or not far from here.
There is a folder in the house with numerous brochures and tips about trips. After booking you will also receive an information booklet from us about the area with nice restaurants, markets, supermarkets, etc.

The Warm Bakker is just outside the park; but in the summer you can also order and pick up your baguette and croissants at the Reception 1 day in advance.
Handy: At 2 km. there is the Lidl, at 3 km the Intermarché and at 4 km. the large SUPER U and many other shops. You can also withdraw money and refuel there.

In short: you are in the right place for a very nice holiday. The villa park has many returnees every year!

The park is located in a unique place, quiet, on the banks of the river Ardèche.   • Private swimming pool is heated to approximately 26 degrees until 31/10.
  • Rental per 1, 2 or 3 or 4 weeks.
  • Reception/tour/explanation of swimming pool and final cleaning: together € 140, from 2024: € 145
  • Deposit €400
  • Tourist tax €2 pppdg. only for adults (from 18 years, free below).
  • Made beds, 4 bath towels, washcloths, 2 sets of kitchen linen, guest towels, 2 bathroom mats: complete package € 17.50 pp
  • Bring your own: pool towels and possibly. children's bedding for the camping bed.
  • Pets are not allowed, not even on request.
  • DISCOUNT when using the house by 2-4 people: € 75 per week on the stated rental price, but not valid during the May holidays, July/August and last minutes
