If you want something different, a ski resort with "only" french, friendly, relaxed atmosphere! Easily accessible by car (no traffic jams, something further away around 1250 KM of Utrecht). And easily accessible by plane eg with Transavia from Rotterdam to Nice, where you can rent a car for a reasonable price is more than 130 KM drive to Allos. From Christmas to April 7, the slopes open. The snow is fine in the resorts of Seignus and La Foux d'Allos (that is connected to Praloup). This is the largest ski resort in the southern French Alps with more than 230km of slopes, no long queues for the lifts and especially less expensive than the famous ski areas.
