Our house with various apartments is located on a sunny southern slope, in a park-like environment with detached houses. Within ten minutes you can walk to the village, where you can get delicious fresh baguettes in the morning.
The authentic mountain village of Allos, located at an altitude of 1,400 meters, is located near the source of the Verdon River. Thanks to its location on the south side of the Alps, you can enjoy many hours of sunshine here. The climate is therefore also particularly pleasant in spring and autumn.
The Verdon Valley is especially popular with French people from the Côte d'Azur. During school holidays it is pleasantly lively, while outside these periods it is wonderfully quiet, ideal for nature lovers.
The nearby Mercantour National Park, with the famous Lac d'Allos, offers wonderful opportunities for mountain walks and experiencing unspoilt nature.
