On the edge of the Champagne Ardennes is this spacious farmhouse that has been converted into a family home with a beautiful garden (5,000 m2), hot tub, football field, volleyball court, play barn and a view of a picturesque landscape. Ideal for a long weekend/week away with kids or family.
The village of Parfondeval has been voted one of the most beautiful villages (Beau Village) in France. In the village you will find a restaurant, a jeux de boules field and there is a village walk along all the historical sights of the village including an old bathhouse and a church (Église Saint-Médard de Parfondeval). Parfondeval is located on a cultural route that leads you past fortified churches.
ACCOMMODATION:
On our estate you will find 2 houses which are connected to each other indoors by means of a lockable door. The first house (gite) offers space for 4 people and has its own backyard with trampoline. On the ground floor are the living room with fireplace, TV with Netflix, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet. On the 1st floor there are 2 spacious bedrooms with two double beds.
In this second house with its own entrance there is a cozy sitting area, dining table, coffee corner, TV with Netflix, kitchen with fireplace, 6 burner gas stove, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, ice cube machine and refrigerator. Utility room with washing machine, dryer, small freezer, extensive games cupboard, toilet with fountain. Spacious dining room with 4 meters! Long table for evenings of fun with the whole family.
In the entrance hall there is a passage to the play barn and a staircase to the 1st floor where there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower and sink.
In the play barn there is a table tennis table, dartboard and table football. Adjacent is the sanitary room with bathroom with bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Here you will also find an extra washing machine & dryer and a separate toilet. You will also find the 4th bedroom on the ground floor.
GARDEN:
Around the house you will find the garden with beautifully lit football field, wood-fired hot tub for 4 people and playground equipment. There is a covered outdoor area with gas barbecue, charcoal barbecue and spacious dining table.
SURROUNDINGS:
The country house is a 5-minute drive from a large supermarket, bakery, butcher and pharmacy. In the immediate vicinity are beautiful walking and cycling routes (including mountain bike trails). A 30-60 min drive away are climbing parks, a beautiful lake with beach, (indoor and outdoor) swimming pool with slides, bowling, go-kart track, large supermarket, various shops, restaurants and a hospital.
Cities such as Charleville, Laon and Reims can be found at 60 minutes drive. In Reims there are many champagne houses that you can visit, but also the famous cathedral.
