Chair Holiday Home is located on the Parc Port Couzages at Les Champs de la Veyrie 6 (Cottage 15) in Chasteaux. This park is a small-scale bungalow park located on the Lac du Causse. From the bungalow you have a view of this beautiful reservoir.
The 5-person cottage is fully equipped. The living room consists of a sitting and dining area with an open kitchen. In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge with freezer, top cooler, kettle, coffee machine and a Senseo machine.
You can receive almost all Dutch TV channels (including ESPN 1) via satellite.
In addition, there is a fixed WiFi connection, so you do not have to use your mobile data bundle.
Furthermore, on the ground floor there is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, and 2 bedrooms. On the upper floor (loft) there is another bedroom with 2 separate beds. Duvets and pillows are provided. You must bring your own sheets, duvet covers and towels.
In front of the cottage you will find a terrace with dining table, garden chairs and cushions. The terrace continues to the end of the cottage. Here you can sit and enjoy the peace and the surroundings. There is a BBQ on the terrace, where you can dine in the evening. There is also a lounger (stretcher) in the storage box. Behind the house is the possibility to put a rotary dryer. Around the house are several fruit trees: apple and walnuts.
The park is located directly on the Lac du Causse. Here you can take a refreshing dip on hot days. A rope has been hung in one of the trees, with which children or young adults can splash in the water.
It is advisable to wear water shoes, because there are stones on the bottom.
On the banks of the Lac du Causse, in front of the park, Ski Nautique is located, where you can go water skiing in July and August or ride on a tire behind the motorboat.
On the other side of the lake there is a sandy beach. At the end of this beach is a water sports rental, where you can rent pedal boats, canoeing and paddle boards. Of course you can also fish. (permit can be purchased on site) There is a lot of fish available, such as catfish and carp. Around the lake there is a walking path of +/- 8 km. And slightly off the lake, in the woods there are also several paths where you can make beautiful walks or MTB routes.
