Who wouldn't want a house in Tuscany in the mountains with great views and yet also close to the coast (20 minutes drive) where there are plenty of sandy beaches and not many lidos. Our cottage is surrounded by numerous historic villages. Suverto, Castagneto Carducci, Sassetta, Campiglia Marittima, Massa Marittima, Bolgheri and many others. The larger towns of Siena and Florence are also within easy reach. The island of Elba where Napoleon lived is also well worth a visit. The house itself is located just above Suverto in the picturesque hamlet of Prata. It has a lot of privacy but is right next to Prata so there is also some supervision.
In Suvereto you imagine yourself back in time but everything is also there Restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacy, terraces, supermarket.
Our house has about 55m2 of living space and externally about 72m2 due to the thick walls. A lovely covered terrace with a view over the valley. Total land area is 850m2. Maintenance of the garden is easy to do because most of the surface that belongs to the house is covered with gravel.
The layout consists of a kitchen, bathroom, living room and a bedroom.
In addition, there is a small shed.
Cooking is done on electricity. The bedroom has air conditioning. In the living room a wood stove with an excellent sofa bed. Satellite TV available.
