Kas na Nort, House on the North, is a stylish new villa built in a unique setting. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, it offers a spacious accommodation for ten people. At the back you will feel alone, looking out from the terrace or from the large pool to the nature and the sea that splashes high against the rugged coast in the distance. Yet the villa is in the security of the friendly and quiet residential area of Sunset Heights.

Your holiday villa is temporarily 'home' and that is exactly what we, the owners of the villa, have in mind. You want to sit comfortably in the living room, but you can also stretch out in a lounger by the pool or on the terrace in the hammock. Watch TV downstairs or from your bed in the master bedroom upstairs. Internet when and as much as you want. Eating inside, eating outside, it's all possible without having to drag chairs. Extensive cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, or barbecuing in the garden. Everything is ready for you.

Our expert manager Hilde will guide you in the house, pick you up and bring you to and from the airport if you wish, and take care of the first shopping, if you like.

Additional information

Kas na Nort is in the elevated villas Sunset Heights neighborhood north of Willemstad. The only access road to the area is closed by a barrier that day and night by a porter is monitored and controlled. It is a fifteen minute drive to the center (Punda or Otrobanda) and the nearest beaches. There is a large supermarket and an ATM at 5 minutes. The island is 60 miles long and average 15 km wide, so you drive in less than an hour to West Point. Although a small island, a rental car is almost essential. If you wish, we can send information from a reliable car hire that may ensure that the car near the house ready for you when you arrive.
Already at the door attracts the pool you through the house lying in the backyard, behind the nature and the sea. You enter the spacious living room with a comfortable sofa on your right and your left-hand half seat at the TV and stereo / DVD system. The living room leads through to the dining room for 10 people and the luxurious open kitchen with breakfast bar with granite tops. The kitchen also borders the large covered back porch which returns to the same level through to the pool terrace and pool. Beside the kitchen is a large storage room, where the ironing board, iron and found a cooler. In the right wing is the yellow bedroom at the front and the blue-green room with sliding doors to the terrace at the back. These bedrooms open into a small hallway, and the green bathroom with shower, toilet and two sinks with mirror wardrobes. On the left are the two pink bedrooms and a bathroom, again opening onto a corridor. The rear bedroom has a living / bedroom with a kitchenette, a sitting area and private terrace with patio doors.
A staircase between the shed and the living room leads to the upper floor and opens onto a landing giving access to the large balcony above. Also from this balcony, you of course a fantastic view over the nature and the sea. On clear days you can see Bonaire lie. The overflow also serves as a kitchenette with an electric stove, refrigerator and coffee maker. The balcony is also accessible from the master bedroom, "the blue room" through open doors. The blue bedroom has a large closet. Of course, the blue room with air conditioning but we (the owners) have never had to use it, so cool it is always above. This large bedroom also includes a spacious bathroom with a beautiful vanity with double sinks, shower, toilet and bidet.
The front yard is sealed with an aluminum fence with a lockable gate and two closable grilles for the carport on the eastern side and a driveway on the western side. The eastern boundary is bordered by a high wall, the west by a wall surmounted by a high fence where grid bougainvilla's growing dread. The back of the yard ends in a steep cliff behind the pool, for your safety marked and partially delineated the house was completed in 2006, but the garden is already full-grown with a 12-number already strong palms, flowering bougainvillea and many of other tropical plants. Around the swimming pool you will find a sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers and an outdoor shower. In the barn is the pump of the pool (where you do not have to worry about) but also the washing machine for your personal washes and a barbecue that you can use to your hearts content. Also you have the space you need to own all kinds of stuff that you do not keep in the house (such as a diving or snorkeling equipment) to store. At the front of the house you can park your car on private property in the shade of the carport parking.
Your holiday villa is temporary 'home' and we have made it to. The villa is fully equipped. You want to sit comfortably in the living room but also nice to stretch out on a lounger by the pool or on the terrace in the hammock. The balcony above is also equipped with two comfortable chairs. Within food, outdoor dining, it can be done without having to carry chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped not only with the equipment mentioned in the brief descriptions, but also with all the kitchen tools that you are accustomed to the hand. Fill with ice and water dispenser direct your glass with ice or chilled water without the door of the refrigerator having to open it.
While in Curacao a voltage of 110 volts is standard, the villa is equipped with 220 V power sockets, so your shaver etc without adapters with you. All bedrooms have quiet split-unit air conditioners with remote control. You will often not even necessary, especially not over, because the house so well on the wind. All rooms are also equipped with ceiling fans. Bring your favorite CDs and DVDs comfortable with it, because there is a stereo system available. There is also an ADSL connection for unlimited Internet, if you have your own laptop. Besides the local TV stations, you can still receive about 60 other channels through our TDS subscription. Including the Netherlands 1, 2 and 3, BVN (Best of The Netherlands), Nickelodeon, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, Discovery, Disney, music. In the 'master'slaapkamer above, the blue room, is a second TV and DVD player available.
Even the little ones plenty of thought. There is a sturdy cot, a playpen, high chair and baby bath ready for them. There are a limited number of toys available, stored in the toy box. The swimming pool, and the clip will be secured by a dismountable fence over the entire width of the back is placed when a young boy is expected. In a separate child tub, such a young child can play on the safe side of the fence with water!
Especially attention is given to the safety of the children. The garden is well fenced. A removable safety fence protects the entire width of the pool and the garden so the cliff edge. When you visit Curacao immediately think of sun, beach, swimming, diving and other watersports. But on Curaçao there are also many attractions including swimming with dolphins, or visiting an ostrich park. Curacao also has some interesting museums, including the Curacao Museum, the Maritime Museum Kura Hulanda. The city of Willemstad is not for nothing on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Monumental buildings frame the natural harbor that divides the city into two, Punda and Otrobanda. Inviting cafes on the waterfront and many other places in the city are built. Outdoors you can eat a variety of restaurants, from simple, local cuttings where you can eat to stylish establishments. But you can also beautiful walks in nature, such as the walks are turned off by Unique Curacao Foundation (see the guide Curacao Hiking in the bookshops there). You can see beautiful birds, and also from the garden of Kas na Nort, so take your viewer if you keep birds.
KLM flies daily from Amsterdam to Curacao and back. The flying time is approximately nine hours non-stop flights. Some flights will be a stop, such as St. Maarten or Aruba, so the travel time between 2 and 2.5 hours increasing. flies to Curaçao from Amsterdam seven times a week. From the USA and Canada several airlines fly to Curaçao, usually via Miami. These include American Airlines, Delta Air Lines,Continental Airlines and United Airlines. There are also air connections between Curaçao and South-/Central American countries, and various Caribbean islands.

The rent includes electricity up to a consumption of 12 KWH per night plus 4 per KWH (paying) person per night and include gas and water. There is, taking into account an average use of air conditioning during the night hours. Also included is the cleaning of the house between (average 1x per week), bed linen, tea towels, towels, beach towels, garden and pool maintenance. There is an ADSL connection to the Internet available which you can make free unlimited use.
Not included:
• Increased consumption of electricity (€ 0.36 cents per KWH). This is deducted from the deposit. The meter is in your presence at the beginning and end of your stay.
• Telephone costs, there is a landline available with a pre-paid system. You can include in supermarkets and petrol stations buying up cards.
• Cost pickup / delivery from the airport.

Reservation and payment
After booking the villa the tenant receives an invoice for payment of 50% of the rent. This deposit must be paid within 8 days, which the reservation is final and that the tenant agrees to the terms and conditions. If the deposit is not received within this period, the reservation expires. The remaining amount, the cost of cleaning, the deposit and any transfer fee 4 weeks before the start of the rental period must be met.

It is possible to take an option on the villa for a holiday in advance with the landlords to agree period (for example, booking travel tickets to align with the rental period).

If cancellation is basically the whole rent will be charged. A cancellation insurance is recommended. If the property in the period under review to others can be rented out, an amount equal to the rent of the re-rented days will be refunded, minus processing fee of 150 Euro.

The villa is managed by Hilde Bovendorp Beheer, Kaminda San Sebastian B7, Curaçao, mobile +5999 5117086. Our local manager welcomes the tenant, shows him / her around in the house and is ready to all questions regarding the occupation of the house to answer.

Minimum stay, arrival and departure
A minimum stay of 7 nights (14 nights over the Christmas period), but on arrival each day of the week is possible. The tenant may on arrival from 16.00 to involve the villa. Departure time is 10.00 hours in connection with the cleaning. In consultation on departure (if that night no other tenants are expected) are available on the home to the departure to the airport for a fee of 60% of the current handover. The administrator may optionally provide for the transport from and to the airport.

Damage to the villa and inventory
The tenant is considered as a 'good house father / mother' with the villa and its inventory to go and leave it tidy. If by the fault of the tenant or his / her fellow residents or damage to the villa to the inventory is done, it will be charged. Any damage should be immediately, or at least before departure, reported to our local manager. The costs will be deducted from the deposit. Small items of loss (up to 25 Euro), if reported, will not be charged. The tenant is urged to report also defects that are not caused by his / her fault  directly by the our local manager.

The deposit is 400 Euro for occupancy up to four persons and 600 Euros in more than four persons. The deposit, after deducting any costs and damages more electricity consumption within 14 days after leaving the villa returned.

Special Condition
Our villa Kas na Nort is on the edge of a steep cliff about 25 meters deep. One should always be kept away from these (highlighted) edge. The villa has a swimming pool of 10x4 meters, depth 1.20 to 2.00 meters. There is a removable security fence which is optionally available easily between the villa and the pool (and therefore the edge of the cliff) can be placed. Families with one or more young children are in any case this fence to place, for safety reasons. Also tenants without young children should the fence be placed where they receive visitors with a young child.
The safety of the tenant and all his / her fellow tenants and guests remain the responsibility of the tenant. The owners take no liability.

Features & layout

Through a front porch leads you into the spacious living room with cathedral (high ascending) ceiling. On your right you will find a comfortable sofa and left a second seat at the TV and cd-/dvdspeler. The living room turns into the dining room by a cozy breakfast bar is connected to the gourmet kitchen. In the living room and dining room provide three ceiling fans for cooling.     Wij hebben in Kas na Nort een geweldige tijd gehad; de mooie ruime woning is werkelijk van alles voorzien; 2 tv's, keukengerei -door ons nauwelijks gebruikt- in overvloed, vaatwasser wasmachine etc etc. etc.; door de fantastische ligging op de wind altijd een stevige bries; wij sliepen zonder airco... Uiterst sympathieke beheerder staat onmiddellijk voor je klaar en is niets teveel.
