Blije Rust 2- Casa Editha- luxury apartment near Blue Bay

The beautiful quiet resort "Blije Rust II", consisting of 5 buildings and one in a tropical garden with swimming pool, was completed in July 2020.

The luxury apartment is located right next to the Blue Bayresort and can accommodate up to 4 people, children are also very welcome. You can enter the resort through the locked gate. The apartment has its own parking space. You can use the lovely swimming pool at the closed resort.
It is a short drive to Hato Airport and within 10 minutes you are in the center of Willemstad.

The apartment has a luxury kitchen with all appliances (dishwasher, American fridge, oven / microwave, Nespresso, toaster and induction hob).

There are two bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed, wardrobes, safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan and television. The second bedroom has 2 single beds with a closet and air conditioning. Bed linen is provided for both rooms.

The bathroom has a lovely rain shower and toilet, there is a washer-dryer. Small and large towels and beach towels are provided.

The living room has a spacious sitting area, flat screen television with all Dutch channels and 10,000 other channels and a soundbar. There is air conditioning in every room except the bathroom. There is a ceiling fan in the living room and master bedroom.

You can request an extra cleaning at an additional cost of € 25.00. For convenience, a vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are provided.

The apartment is equipped with a 220 volt connection. Water is included in the price. We would like to ask you to be frugal with water consumption. Water is precious on the island. The electricity is exclusive and will be settled on the spot. This is possible with a cash deposit of € 250.00 or you can transfer the deposit and later you will receive it back minus the costs of the electricity. With normal use of air conditioning, this costs approximately €45-€50 per week. WIFI is available for free.

In the exotic garden is a nice swimming pool, which you can use until about 9 pm.

We are Raoul and Mireille and have been coming to the island for over 10 years. Raoul's family comes from Curaçao and that makes us feel at home here. This has also led to the purchase of the nice apartment at Blije Rust 2. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Explanation of prices

Water and electricity
Water and electricity are expensive on the island. The stay is exclusive use of water and electricity. The average costs per week for water & electricity are approximately €35.00-€40.00. It is assumed that the consumption of 100 KW of electricity and 1.5 m3 of water. The actual consumption is calculated afterwards and deducted from the deposit.

Remark:
An air conditioner consumes about 6KW during a night from about 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. = rounded off € 3.00 per night.
