Blue Bay Curacao Beach Villa

Our beach villa on the beautiful Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort is a spacious and completely detached single storey villa. It offers space for 6 people and has a lovely covered veranda surrounded by beautiful palm trees and a tropical garden. There is plenty of shaded space on the porch for lounging or enjoying the hammock. The breeze is wonderful and the veranda is also equipped with fans. With the beautiful white sandy beach with restaurants, flamingo lake and the golf course within walking distance, this place offers everything to guarantee a great relaxing holiday. Our villa is a beautiful detached villa on Blue Bay, so that your privacy is guaranteed without neighbors above or below.

Our villa:
- is spacious (155 m2), for max. 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms with air conditioning.
- is close to the tastefully renovated swimming pool. Beach, restaurant, ocean view brasserie and sports facilities (tennis and golf) are all within walking distance. The new Brass Boer brasserie is a unique experience for gourmet lovers.
- overlooks the tropical garden with banana palms and is therefore nicely sheltered, so offers sufficient privacy
- is on the ground floor; no upstairs or downstairs neighbors and no stairs, so child-friendly and suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
- recently completely refurbished, everything neat and clean, also suitable for (small) children. Cot, high chair, beach and swimming toys, books and games are all provided.
- has its own Internet / WiFi connection and TV with AppleTV, free to use. Internet has been upgraded to a fast fiber optic connection.
- Both 220v and 110v connections are available. There are also sufficient adapter plugs.

The recently renovated kitchen is fully equipped (crockery, cooking utensils, Nespresso, blender, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, sandwich maker, gourmet grill, etc.). The kitchen is of course also equipped with basic necessities such as pepper, salt, spices, oil, coffee and tea. The local supermarket is a five minute drive away. But we can also recommend a delicious lunch or dinner at the beach restaurant (with your feet in the sand). Bed linen, towels, kitchen linen and beach towels are provided and are included in the rental price. There is also a washing machine and detergent available in the villa, ready for use if desired.

Our guests receive unlimited access to all facilities of Blue Bay, including the beach with free sunbeds, the beach bar, restaurants, kids club, tennis court, etc. The Blue Bay Resort is a secured resort with 24-hour security. It is child friendly and very safe. Blue Bay is still being expanded here and there, so there can sometimes be construction work on the resort, but not in the immediate vicinity of our villa.

Blue Bay Golf offers a professional 18-hole par 72 golf course with great views over the Caribbean Sea and the most diverse tropical plants along the fairway. Between the teeing area and the green of hole 5 you even have to hit the sea! Our villa is located in the middle of a beautiful and well-maintained tropical garden. This does mean that there are also animals such as lizards, insects and tropical birds around the villa. Blue Bay provides a stray cat program. These cats are provided with food and receive medical care. In turn, they take care of pest control, so guests should not feed the cats. In case of allergies, the proximity of cats around is something to be aware of.

Blue Bay is a great place for snorkeling and diving. Blue Bay Dive offers two unique dive sites, the 'Wall' and the 'Garden'. At the PADI certified diving school you can take a course or rent your equipment. From the beach you can walk straight into the Caribbean Sea and swim through the bay to the coral reef. But, snorkeling is also absolutely beautiful at Blue Bay. Due to the calm sea, visibility is excellent and even within the bay you can see beautiful underwater life. For children we have a set of snorkels, masks and fins in the villa. If you would like to have tips about beautiful diving locations, please do not hesitate to ask us, we know a few of them.

We do not live permanently on the island ourselves, but our hosts live nearby and know the island like the back of their hand. We make sure that we are always ready if there is anything and of course we take all the time to explain the villa, the resort and the island. Picturesque Willemstad is only a 15-minute drive away, the airport is also 15 minutes away. We recommend renting a car so that you are flexible during your holiday.

It is important to use water and energy on the island consciously and economically. That is why we settle the water and electricity costs separately with the guests. We do this on the basis of the actual meter readings and the official rates as published by the utility company.
