Villa Atardi is an attractive holiday home in the quiet residential resort of Marbella Estate, Jan Thiel. The villa can accommodate up to 6 people. Villa Atardi is spacious and bright with a cozy porch and a tropical garden. 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open kitchen, fully equipped. Villa Atardi is cozy and homely furnished with many extras, such as free WIFI, beach towels, cool boxes, beach gear, well-stocked bookcase, many games, TV, radio / CD, BBQ, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen appliances, ample crockery and cutlery and a large stock towels. There is also a safe and an alarm system.
The resort is walled with a secure entrance gate and has a communal swimming pool. The pool is diagonally opposite Villa Atardi; just cross the street (30 m) and you are there.
Our holiday home is suitable for couples or families with older children. Due to height differences and stairs, our house is less suitable for small(er) children.

Location
Marbella Estate is located near Jan Thiel, east of Willemstad. From the Caracasbaaiweg you drive onto a side road (Kaya Tiramisu) that gives you access to the resort. With five minutes by car you are at the beach Jan Thiel or nice restaurants.

Rent villa Atardi
The rental price is up to 4 persons € 110 per night, 5-6 persons € 120 per night.
The rental price includes: weekly short cleaning including change of bed linen and a new set of towels, normal use of water, free WIFI and many extras such as use of beach towels, BBQ, washing machine and dishwasher. It is possible to use extra towels/beach towels, which you must wash yourself in the washing machine.

The rental price does not include: electricity, additional water consumption and 7% tourist tax. The consumption of electricity is deducted from the deposit (€ 0.40 per kWh). The mandatory final cleaning is € 125 per booking. The deposit is €500 for 4 persons and €600 for 5-6 persons. We will refund the deposit, after deduction of electricity consumption, additional water consumption, any additional (washing) costs and any damage costs within 14 days after departure from Villa Atardi.

Use of Villa Atardi and house rules for guests Marbella Estate Resort Villa Atardi is part of the Marbella Estate Resort, which is a so-called 'gated community' with a residential destination, in other words a quiet luxury residential area. So it is not a holiday resort. The tenants are expected to take into account the views that apply to living in luxury residential areas on Curaçao. This means, among other things, that there may be no nuisance for local residents (in whatever form), naked or topless sunbathing and/or holding parties and other gatherings where more than the number of booked persons will be present. Visitors may be admitted to the resort, but can only be present in Villa Atardi in the company of the holiday tenants of Villa Atardi and use the communal swimming pool. They may not disturb the other residents in their free enjoyment of the project facilities, such as the swimming pool. And visitors should leave as quietly as possible. The owners' association has drawn up a set of internal rules that our holiday tenants must also adhere to. You will receive our rental conditions and the house rules for guests when booking.

Bon Bini Curacao after!

We are (again) fallen in love with Curacao, when we went back to the island where Brigitte lived for several years in her youth. We now come to Curaçao for many years and since 2009 we have our own house: Villa Atardi. A cozy and spacious house, which we have made. Completely at home

If we do not use Villa Atardi we propose selectively available to other Curacao lovers for a holiday.

Explanation of prices

The rental price is up to 4 persons € 110 per night, 5-6 persons € 120 per night. The calculation on the site is standard on the rental price up to 4 people.

The rental price includes: weekly short cleaning and change of bed linen and new set of towels, normal use of water, WIFI and
many extras such as use of beach towels, cool box and beach equipment, books, games, TV, radio, BBQ, washing machine, dishwasher and extensive kitchen inventory.
The weekly cleaning is from a minimum stay of 10 days. Weekly new set of towels: per person one beach towel, four bath towels, one washcloth/guest towel. And two kitchen towels, two tea towels and two bath mats per bathroom per week. It is possible to use extra towels/beach towels, which you must wash yourself in the washing machine. If additional washing costs for extra use of towels are made by the manager, these will be deducted from the deposit.

The rental price does not include: electricity and additional consumption of water and 7% tourist tax. We settle the consumption of electricity with the deposit (€ 0.40 per kWh).

The mandatory final cleaning is € 125 per booking. If your departure day falls on a Sunday or official public holiday in Curacao, the mandatory final cleaning is € 155 per booking.

Additional information

We regularly stay in our holiday home. During the period that we are not staying there ourselves, we selectively make it available for holiday rental. We assume that you will use our house properly, so that we and other tenants can continue to use it with pleasure. We also point out our rental conditions. Furnishing the holiday home The house (133m2) is suitable for 6 people and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a spacious open kitchen with all necessary equipment, living room, a large porch and garden with a fence (lot 516 m2). Next to the house is a parking space for two cars. One of the bedrooms is the master bedroom with its own bathroom, the other two bedrooms have a shared bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning. In the cupboard in the hall you will find a large amount of bath towels and beach towels. There is free WIFI. For the most part, the electricity is 110 volts and there is at least 1 socket with 220 volts in every bedroom, in the living room and in the kitchen. Adapter plugs are available. You can use the washing machine during your stay. The house has an alarm system and there is a hotel safe for valuables. Electricity and water are very expensive on Curaçao. We request that you use water and electricity sparingly. The rental price is exclusive of electricity, including normal water use (4m3 of water per week). The meter readings are taken in your presence on your arrival and on your departure. Please do not smoke in the house and no pets in the house. On arrival the house is clean and the beds are made. The manager will take the meter readings in your presence and will show you around. The rental price includes the weekly interim short cleaning (for a minimum stay of 10 days). When you leave, the house will be inspected and the meter readings will be taken. Final cleaning is mandatory. Your electricity consumption, additional water consumption and any damage or additional (washing) costs will be deducted from your deposit within 14 days after your departure. Our house is only available for vacation rentals. See also the rental conditions.

Reservation and payment
After booking our holiday, Villa Atardi, the tenant receives a lease (invoice) for payment of 50% of the rent. This deposit must be paid within 14 days, which the reservation is final and that the tenant agrees to the terms and conditions. If the deposit is not received within this period, the reservation expires.

The remaining amount (50% rent), the cost of cleaning, the deposit and any additional costs should be agreed 6 weeks before the start of the rental period must be met.

If booking within 6 weeks of the stay can be made, then the entire rental fee, cleaning fee, security deposit and any additional costs agreed at once to be met before the start of the rental period. The invoice must be paid within 14 days and no later than 7 days before rental period to be paid. This reservation is final and the Tenant agree to the terms and conditions. If payment is not received within this period, the reservation expires.

Option
It is possible to take an option in consultation with the owners of Villa Atardi for an advance with the landlords to agree period (for example, booking of tickets to align with the rental period) but no longer than 14 days.

Cancellation
If canceled up to 6 weeks before the planned stay is normally 50% of the rent charged. A cancellation insurance is recommended.
If canceled within 6 weeks of the planned stay is basically the whole rent will be charged. If the property in the period under review to others can be rented out, the rent for the rented days will be refunded, minus processing fee of € 200.00.

Administrator
The administrator starts the tenant makes him / her around in the house and is ready to answer all questions during the stay of Villa Atardi to answer.

Damage to the house and inventory
Accidents can happen. We assume that our house tidy lives, but something can fail. This damage like as soon as possible to the administrator or notify us so that we can solve. If the damage is caused by your fault, we bring the repair / replacement costs. Time (ie the spot to the administrator or within 5 days after your return to the Netherlands) reported damages totaling (per stay) less than € 25.00, we charge not. (On time) reported damages are fully charged.

Use of Villa Atardi
Our house is only intended as a holiday. You are expected to deal respectfully with our home and inventory. Also, we expect that you take into account the neighbors and other residents of the resort and no disturbance in any form whatsoever caused. You are expected to take into account the views as to the occupation of luxury residential neighborhoods on Curaçao. This means eg that it is a matter of inconvenience to local residents (in whatever form), nude or topless sunbathing and / or holding festivals and other gatherings where more than the number of booked persons will be present (unless you have previously written consent of the landlord or someone on his behalf, has received). When in doubt, refer to the prior landlord and / or administrator.

Deposit
The deposit is € 400.00. The deposit, after deduction of electricity consumption, increased water consumption, any additional cleaning and damage costs over € 25.00 within 14 days after leaving our house returned.

In the afternoon Curaçao is at its best...when the sun goes down, the birds are chirping...That is the text of one of the most beautiful songs about Curaçao and that is why our house is called Villa Atardi. There are many more beautiful places on this island. We prefer the natural bays west of Willemstad, such as Cas Abou, Porto Marie and Jeremi. But the Handelskade in Punda, the Christoffel Park, Museum Kura Hulanda and Klein Curaçao are also beautiful places to visit. We are happy to give you tips for a dushi stay.
