Villa Shimaruku

Villa Shimaruku is a beautiful stylish house for 6 people with a beautiful garden and private pool with various types of fruit trees such as shimaruku, cashew, soursop, mango, banana and pomegranate.

The name of the villa is derived from a tree in our garden called shimaruku. This tree can produce fruits similar to a cherry several times a year. This fruit has the most vitamin C known in the world.

Called Shimaruku or the West Indian Cherry (also known here as the acerola), it is a fruit native to South and Central America and the Caribbean. After heavy rains, the fruit can usually be found on the shimaruku trees. The tree resembles a shrub, but can also grow very large.
The shimaruku is really a superfood ! You only need 3 or 4 berries to get enough vitamin C. The berry is red on the outside, but orange/yellow on the inside. In addition, this small fruit also contains many antioxidants, few calories and is rich in vitamin A! What is remarkable is that the green fruits contain even more vitamins than the ripe fruits (2 times as much).


Living room:
The living room is very spacious (80 m2) and high. The height in particular provides cooling in the home. The living room has a spacious corner sofa and a number of bookshelves that are well filled with books.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is very complete, equipped with the following equipment such as:
- large fridge/freezer combination
- oven
- dishwasher
- extractor hood
- microwave
- gas hob with six burners
- small kitchen appliances such as: egg cooker, toaster, sandwich maker, hand blender,
Senseo machine, coffee machine and kettle.

There are two bar stools at the bar in the kitchen.

Master bedroom:
A bathroom adjoins the master bedroom. This bedroom has 2 box-spring beds, a spacious built-in wardrobe and is also equipped with a TV and air conditioning.

Bedrooms:
The other bedrooms are also equipped with 2 box-spring beds, air conditioning and a spacious built-in wardrobe.

Bathrooms:
Both bathrooms have a glass shower screen and a rain shower. Hair dryer is available.

Salvage:
In the storage room there is a washing machine that you can use.

Terrace:
On the terrace you will find a dining table, lounge set, sunbeds and gas BBQ.
There is complete privacy with a beautiful unobstructed view. You look from the terrace at the Christoffelberg.

Swimming pool:
There is a private swimming pool adjacent to the terrace.

Garden:
In the garden there is a spacious palapa of approximately 4 m x 4 m where you can sit in the wind. If you are lucky you can enjoy one of the fruits that are ripe at that time during your stay. There is also a seat in front of the house where you can always sit out of the sun and in the wind.

The villa is located on the beautiful and quiet 24/7 guarded Villa Park Fontein.

Just 20 minutes from Willemstad and 10 minutes from the most beautiful beaches such as Porto Marie, Cas Abou, Character and Daaibooi of Curaçao, where it is very quiet and you can enjoy diving and snorkeling.

Sufficient beach towels and linen are provided.

The weather is always nice on Curacao. Except for sleeping you are always outside.
