Kas Bisento is a spacious 4-person holiday home in a cheerful Caribbean color and was completed in June 2022. The house of 93m2 has 2 bedrooms, spacious bathroom, living room with open kitchen and spacious "outdoor living" veranda. From the veranda you can walk straight into the private swimming pool. The price is for use of the entire house and not based on the number of people (maximum 4). Moreover, you can use the house until your flight (or max. 18h/6pm) at no extra cost on the last day of rental.

The house is suitable for holiday accommodation and is located on the secure Villa Park Fontein (partly still under construction) on the green side of the island, but still only 20 minutes by car from the center of Willemstad and 15 minutes from Hato airport. The park is located on the former plantation of country house Fontein at the foot of the mountain where, according to tradition, the local hero Tula fought an important battle. This was the impetus for the abolition of slavery in Curaçao. A few kilometers away you will find the popular beaches Cas Abou, Porto Marie and Daaibooi. The flamingos are also bathing just a stone's throw away. In the nearby village of Tera Korá, you have a good supermarket, bakery, pharmacy / drugstore and home care post. If you would like to make use of the shopping package (see extras) that we can be ready for you upon arrival, please let us know. Several restaurants can be found in the vicinity of Fontein. These can usually be reached within 5 minutes by car. Reservations are recommended.

There is parking for 2 cars on site. A new (2025), economical and comfortable family car (see photo, automatic) will be waiting for you there from August 1, 2025! So don't look for a rental car! Only guests of Kas Bisento can rent this car. The price for this car is €39 per day including transfer to and from Hato, insurance, and possibly a child seat. (Excl. deposit €350)

Maybe you'll be in time to pick your own bananas. When you sit/lie in the garden or on the porch enjoying yourself you will hear the cheerful bird sounds around you and you may see the troepial, blenchi's (hummingbird), prikichis (parrots) and the sugar thieves that live up to their name.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Minimum stay 1 week, maximum stay 6 weeks. You can still use the house and shower for the full day on the last day.

Deposit for stays up to two weeks (14 nights) €400,-, every week (or partial week) longer € 100 deposit will be added;
Water, electricity and any damage will be deducted from the deposit at the end of the stay.
Holding parties/gatherings/pool parties is prohibited. In case of violation, you can be immediately evicted by the security of the park, without refund.
Smoking in the house is prohibited.
No pets allowed.

Indication of water and electricity consumption for 2 persons:

Water: 4 m3 per week at € 9
Electricity: 100 kWh per week at € 0.75

For stays of 3 weeks or longer, there is a mandatory small cleaning at €60 from week 2, every 2 weeks.

We are happy to offer the car to you after reservation confirmation from Kas Bisento. Until August 1, 2025, we can put you in touch with our current, permanent car rental provider.

Cancellation of house and/or car:

Costs for cancellations up to 6 weeks before departure: 50% of the invoice sum. In case of cancellation within 6 weeks before departure, only the deposit will be returned to you.

Go snorkeling with Turtles between the fishing boats. It is always very busy, which already has a lot of impact on the turtles. If you're going to take a look, enjoy them from an appropriate distance.

It is a pleasure to walk in the streets of Fontein, the colored houses, the beautiful flowers and the sound of the many birds provide an ultimate holiday feeling. But you can also take beautiful walks outside the streets. The difficulty of the many marked routes can vary enormously. Therefore, look at sites such as that of Uniek Curacao, to properly assess which you want and can do. Around Fontein you can visit the ruins of the Landhuis Fontein, or visit the Tula monument that stands on top of the mountain Seru Neger. Viewpoints from that mountain go in all directions, so you also have a beautiful view of Fontein.

Cas Abou is mentioned on many lists as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And let this beach be the closest to Kas Bisento. A few minutes away you can enjoy this beach, the beautiful sea and all facilities. There is a bar with drinks and snacks, as well as a massage. or you can take a dive at the professional Diving School. Besides Cas Abou, there are many beaches nearby, sometimes with many facilities, and sometimes you are just there all alone. So something for every beach goer.

Say Curacao and everyone will think of a wonderful beach holiday. That is certainly true, but there are also many more beautiful natural sides to be found. The north side of the island can certainly not be compared with the quietly lapping sandy beaches that you find in all the photos. The force with which the water hits the rocks will amaze you. Shete Boka National Park shows 7 beautiful coves where you get a different view on the power of Water. Watamula, the place where the earth breathes, shows a rainbow at the right time. The Christoffelberg and the park of the same name are also located in Banda Abou. The mountain is the highest mountain on the island and therefore also in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. If you want to climb the Christoffel, start on time because after 10 o'clock they won't let you leave. Take plenty of water with you as it is quite a climb.

National Parks and Wild Side of the Island

In Willemstad you will find many beautiful buildings, historic places and cozy squares. Hiking is a wonderful experience in both Punda and Otrabanda. People who have been to Willemstad years ago will tell you that Otrabanda is outdated and unsafe. This certainly no longer applies to how it looks now. The many Street art, cozy bars and beautiful views make it worth a visit.

Curacao has a long past, of which Slavery has been a part. Tula led the slave revolt that went from plantation Knip, via plantation Fontein to Willemstad. The result of that revolt was the abolition of slavery on the island. A clenched fist with broken chains can be seen in several locations, especially along the route they have traveled. They can also be seen on the mountain Seru Neger near Kas Bisento, and at the country house Knip. Landhuis Knip is a complete museum dedicated to the slavery past.

The Flamingos, our cozy pink friends, are always paddling a few kilometers from Kas Bisento. The salt pans of Jan Kok where they walk around are already a good reason to go for a walk. The historic Lime Kiln, or the Upside-down jellyfishes, are a sight to behold.
