Villa Kayenna is a lovely house located a little higher, giving you a beautiful view of the park, Banda Abou and even the Caribbean Sea. The villa is located in a beautiful, quiet spot on villa park Fontein, a secure resort. This is close to the beautiful beaches: Playa Porto Marie, Playa Cas Abou and Playa Daaibooi where you can snorkel. There are several nice restaurants nearby: Landhuis Dokterstuin, Bistro e Lanternu, Landhuis klein Santa Martha and Karakter op Coral Estate. There are also supermarkets nearby and a good bakery, Panaderia, in Tera Cora 8 minutes away. The villa is well located on the wind, has a lovely veranda at the front with beautiful views and at the rear a large sun terrace with nice sunbeds, a swimming pool, an outdoor shower and a palappa that offers enough shade to relax by the pool. The villa is fully equipped, has a beautiful new kitchen with appliances, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilet and a 3rd toilet at the back.
It is located at +/- 15 min. drive from the airport, 30 min. from Willemstad and about 7 minutes from the beach.

From October 2021 we are the owner of Villa Kayenna. In recent months we have modernized the house and equipped it with a beautiful contemporary kitchen.
We have been coming to Curaçao for work and private for several years and have become more and more attached to it. Every time we enjoy the wonderful weather and the relaxed atmosphere on the island. We are still discovering new places, we are far from bored.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

MIcazu will send you an invoice for: the first payment of 30%, 2 weeks after the acceptance of the booking and an invoice for the final payment which will be sent 6 weeks before your arrival date.

DEPOSIT: € 100.00 per person per week, which will not only include any damage, but also the costs of electricity and water. If there is no damage and you have used less water and electricity than the deposit, you will be refunded the difference to your account. If you have used more than the deposit, you will receive an additional tax.
Final cleaning costs and linen package: 125,00 Euro. The linen package includes bed sheets and pillowcases, kitchen towels, bath towels, bath and beach towels.

Next to Curacao's largest national park, Christoffel Park, borders the Shete Boka National Park ('translated: seven coves or bays'), which was established in 1994 and covers approximately 200 hectares. The coastline is more than 10 km long and has several bays and coves where various species of turtles lay their eggs. One of the park's most famous attractions is Boka Tabla, a cave that is accessible from land on one side, and into which the dammed up sea flows in on the other.

Style room 1 is furnished as a 19th-century living room with furniture made of mahogany by Curaçao carpenters. Mahogany was widely used because it is a type of wood that is not easily attacked by white ants, which are common on the island. A nice detail is the mahogany door, an outer door with copper knob from the house of the Alvares Correa family of the Bredestraat in Punda. This house was inhabited when demolished by the historian and artist John de Pool. The dining table is the oldest dining table on the island.

Shipwreck history Klein Curacao. Due to the northeast wind and extremely strong currents that occur around the island, several ships have come ashore. The most famous is the oil tanker that ran aground in the 1980s, called the Maria Bianca Guidesman. The meanwhile rusty wreck has its final resting place on Klein Curacao and disappears very slowly due to the influence of the elements.
