Welcome to LaComte5, our holiday home in the Belgian Ardennes, 5 km from Vielsalm. LaComte5 is an old Ardennes farmhouse that has been lovingly renovated. Character and comfort go hand in hand here: the half-timbered walls, natural stone walls and the old range have been kept, and there is everything you would expect from a modern home. The house and both gardens are all yours. There is room for six people and a baby.
Ground floor
The heart of LaComte5 is the kitchen-diner with its large wooden table and antique wood-fired stove. You cook on a 4-ring electric cooker, and there is an oven, microwave, dishwasher, Senseo, filter coffee maker and kettle. In the lounge you can light the wood-burning fireplace. The living room has leather sofas and a smart TV with Apple TV and Chromecast. You will also find a bathroom with bath, washbasin, shower and toilet, and a utility room with washing machine.
First floor (split-level)
• Master bedroom: 180 × 200 box-spring bed with two separate mattresses, seating area and walk-in wardrobe
• Study: desk with a good office chair, on the landing to the master bedroom
• Second bedroom: two single box-spring beds 90 × 200, with a view of the gardens
• Third bedroom: two single box-spring beds 80 × 200
• Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet
A cot or travel cot and a high chair are available. Every room has central heating that you control yourself. The Wi-Fi is fast and 4G coverage is excellent.
Outside
Next to the house is the garden with terrace, a 3-metre outdoor table, garden furniture and a barbecue. The large lawn is perfect for sunbathing, playing and football. There is also a raised terrace, a table tennis table and a lockable bike shed. Free parking at the house for 2 cars, or 3 depending on their size.
