Welcome to our Ardennes holiday home "La Ferme Oubliée" in Paliseul, located in the National Park of the Semois Valley. The house is equipped for 10-12 people. There are 5 bedrooms - one of which is on the ground floor with shower and sink - , 1 bathroom with whirlpool bath/shower, 1 shower room, two cots and two baby chairs, infrared sauna, a walled garden with terrace and second garden with trees. The entire property is fenced. "La Ferme Oubliée" is located in a quiet spot in a wooded area. Beautiful region with many hiking opportunities and MTB routes (several of which start at the house). Water sports on the Semois. Beaches for children on the Semois. The cottage is located a short distance from many tourist attractions: the historic city of Bouillon with castle and bird of prey show, the Tomb of the Giant, Rochehaut with animal park and agricultural museum, the picturesque Frahan, the Euro Space Center, the Abbey of Orval, the caves of Han etc. Restaurant near the house. Several renowned restaurants in the area.

I live in Flanders. The beautiful nature of the Semois valley prompted me to buy a house in this region. The holiday home is located in a quiet spot in Fays-Les-Veneurs (borough of Paliseul), a wooded village with extensive meadows and wonderfully undulating hills. I would like to let you enjoy!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The energy costs cover : infrared sauna, whirlpool, electricity, heating, water, wifi and garbage. For stays of more than 3 nights, the deposit is increased to 600 €. Indeed, the deposit is reduced by all costs (consumption, final cleaning and tourist tax). We accept one large or two small well-behaved dogs (15 € per stay and per dog). Cancellation fees : up to 31 days before arrival : deposit.  Afterwards : rent.

  • When you leave, close all windows and doors, switch off the refrigerator and TV completely and turn the thermostat to program 2 (Eco). All radiator knobs must be placed in the anti-freeze setting.
  • We accept a maximum of 2 dogs.

Additional information

A visit to Rochehaut should not be missed. From Rochehaut you have a magnificent view of Frahan, one of the most beautiful places in the Ardennes.

The Castle of Bouillon is a hilltop castle of medieval origin. The castle is strategically located on a long rocky ridge in a loop of the river Semois, which flows along it on two sides. Torchlight hikes and bird of prey shows take place regularly.

The river, the Semois, offers all kinds of sports activities (swimming in the approved bathing areas, kayaking, pedal boats, etc.). There are beaches for children (Bouillon : beach near the Pont de France (142 m. long)

Notre-Dame d'Orval Abbey is a Cistercian abbey located in the Belgian village of Villers-devant-Orval, a part of the municipality of Florenville in the province of Luxembourg. The abbey was established in 1132 in the Gaume region. The monastery is known for its history and spiritual life, but also for its Trappist beer (see Orval beer) and typical abbey cheese.
