Chalet Murau

Detached luxury chalet on a large piece of private land. The immediate vicinity offers plenty of opportunity for sports and cultural relaxation in summer and winter.
The chalet is located 5 kilometres from the Kreischberg ski area. With an altitude of 2118 meters and modern snow installations, there is perfect snow until the end of the season. Kreischberg has enough black, red and blue slopes to keep you entertained for weeks. There is even a stretch of track with time measurement! For children, there are plenty of ski schools and practice slopes and snowboarders can indulge themselves in the largest half-pipe in Europe.
Tobogganing, with a sled down the mountain, is also a lot of fun. And on the tubing track, with an pneumatic tire, fun is guaranteed!

The other ski area that is close by (8 kilometers) is Frauenalpe. This is a smaller area with red and black slopes and only drag lifts. The ski passes are very cheap and it is not crowded. Very nice slopes and beautiful descents.

Close to the chalet are cycling and walking routes, the 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, a riding school and swimming pools. Rafting on the Mur is also possible.

The 5-star chalet is luxuriously furnished and has an outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, whirlpool and massage shower. Of course there is a dryer for ski boots, a ski box in which skis can be locked behind lock and a washing machine.
Chalet Murau has 4 separate bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms and 1 3-person bedroom. It is therefore ideal for two families or groups of friends.
The large terrace and garden are south-west facing. Attached to the kitchen is a smaller terrace that has full morning sun. With more than 200 days of sunshine a year and unobstructed views of the mountains, these are wonderful places to sit. We have a large BBQ in the storage room with which the perfect summer evenings can be celebrated with families or friends. The large terrace has 2 large tables and 12 chairs. 
When it is colder, the gas fireplace in the sitting area ensures wonderful winter evenings.

Fancy a big city? Then within two hours you are in Graz (cultural capital 2003), in Linz (cultural capital 2009) and in Salzburg (hometown Mozart and known for the Festspiele in August). The Weinstrasse in South Styria is beautiful and known for its delicious white wines. This is especially worth a visit during the wine festivals in the autumn.
