Murau has a lot to offer in all seasons and is not yet overrun by tourists. Here you can still really find the Styrian Charm. For winter sports enthusiasts, the Kreischberg ski area (42 km of slopes; 2100m) is about a 5-minute drive away. This family ski area is a very versatile area that has plenty to offer for both experienced and novice winter sports enthusiasts. There are also plenty of other ski areas nearby, including Obertauern, Turracher Höhe, Klatschberg and Lachtal.
It is also a good place to stay in the summer. The house is south-facing, and therefore offers sun worshipers the opportunity to fully enjoy it. The more active holidaymaker can indulge in beautiful cycling tours (also for mountain bikers), walking routes, mountain climbing or rafting in the Mur river. Sports with less risk can also be practiced. There is a tennis court next to the park and a beautiful 18-hole golf course is 5 km away. In short, you will never be bored here.
The house offers 9 sleeping places and four bedrooms, 2 of which are connected. There are two bathrooms with experience showers. A bathroom is also equipped with a jacuzzi and infrared sauna cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped. From the terrace you have a beautiful panoramic view. There are two parking spaces at the house.

- The Red Bull ring with Formula 1 and MotoGP races is easily accessible and is approximately a 45-minute drive away.
- Steierische Holzstrasse offers a journey of discovery of everything wood has to offer.
- Steam locomotive Murtal. This runs from Murau to Tamsweg on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer months of June to September.
- Brauerei der Sinne in Murau. Bierstadt Murau owes its name to the local Brauerei. Guided tours are given here daily in English and German.
- Hallstatt, the town that adorns almost every postcard of Austria, is a two-hour drive from Murau.
- Wörtersee in Klagenfurt. The most famous lake in Austria is less than a 1.5-hour drive from Murau. The water here can reach up to 27 degrees in the summer months.
