Wasserfall Lodge / Alpine Style

On the border of Salzbürgerland and Tyrol lies Krimml (1100 meters). The village of Krimml is known for the Krimml waterfalls, with more than 380 meters the highest waterfall in Europe. Our lodge is located just above the village center of Krimml. The supermarket and bakery are within walking distance (approx. 3 min walk). The village is small, cozy and Austrian gemutlich with a few shops and of course an intersport, some restaurants and a small apres ski bar.

The lodge is furnished in Alpine Style and completed in Sept 2019. In the morning, you can drink a freshly brewed Nespresso with hot, whipped milk on the authentic, covered balcony with fantastic views of the mountains and a forest. Or do you join the wooden sitting area with dining table to enjoy fresh, warm sandwiches from the bakery and enjoy the view? After a lovely hike or exhausting ski tour, you can enjoy the Finnish sauna and relax in the sun loungers. An invigorating shower in one of our luxurious bathrooms is a treat afterwards. There are a number of excellent restaurants in the area (chef level). Such as Restaurant Weyerhof and Schloss Mittersill. Luxury Kitzbühel is also worth a visit 40 minutes away. Numerous luxury boutiques, bars and restaurants are worth a visit. Our lodge combines luxury, outdoor life and gourmet dining and the beautiful nature of Hohe Tauern. Pure enjoyment!

Sporty update:
In collaboration with Intersport Patterer, users of the Wasserfal lodge can rent a ski locker at a hefty discount. No lugging skis and in a luxurious and heated changing room right next to the new lift (completed in 2025) you can change clothes. If you want to take advantage of this including a 10% discount on ski rental, we would like to hear from you. Soon there will also be a nice discount available for the rental of e-bikes. There are special routes in Krimml that young and old can enjoy with an E-bike.
