Haus Boris

A wonderfully comfortable and cosily furnished holiday home (built in 2009) in Annaberg, only 100 meters from the slopes. We live upstairs and sleep downstairs (where it is also nice and cool in the summer). You park your car directly in front of our house. Snow chains are necessary in winter. The Donnerkogelbahn takes you in both winter and summer in a short time to the hiking and skiing area Dachstein-West.

Our holiday home is suitable for small and large families, up to 6 people (not including children in a cot). It has a large living room with fully equipped open kitchen and wood stove , 3 bedrooms, a small bathroom upstairs and a large bathroom with sauna downstairs. There is an enclosed garden with a terrace around the house.

Annaberg is located in the Genuss & Erlebnisregion of the Salzburgerland and is a great destination all year round! Of course the winter season is popular, but there is also a lot to do outside of it. The summer season starts at the end of May/beginning of June when the lifts in Dachstein-West open again (including the brand new Donnerkogelbahn, a 10-minute walk from our house). Hiking, mountain biking , rafting and swimming are possible in and around Annaberg. But Salzburg or the Salzkammergut are also worth a visit!

Ski in - ski out ! You can ski from the front door to the piste 100 meters away, after which the Donnerkogelbahn takes you to the family-friendly Dachstein-West ski area in just 8 minutes. Many cozy huts and approx. 50 kilometers of blue, red and black slopes await you there. The ski school is also located at the valley station of the Donnerkogelbahn. Extensive cross-country skiing is available in Lungötz and Abtenau, both 15 minutes' drive from our house. You can also make plenty of winter walks.

Your dog is very welcome with us, without paying extra (maximum 2 dogs)! The dog basket and food bowls are ready upon arrival. Our garden is fenced and you can walk into the mountains with your dog for a long or short walk.

Layout of our house:
The upper floor consists of a large open space with living room and open kitchen with dining area. The decor is modern and the wood stove completes it! Next to it is the entrance with wardrobe and a small bathroom. The small bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. From the living room you have access to the balcony (facing north) and the terrace (facing south). The living room is furnished with:

• 3 seater sofa
• 2 nice chairs
• poof
• little table
• TV
• DVD player
• bookcase with Dutch, German and English books, and some children's books
• DVDs
• all kinds of games

The open kitchen is separated from the spacious dining area with large dining table and china cabinet by a cooking island with 3 bar stools. A high chair is available. Because we love to cook, we have equipped our kitchen as fully as possible with, among other things:

• oven
• microwave
• fridge with freezer
• a dishwasher
• kettle
• toaster
• filter coffee maker
• Nespresso machine (cups)
• scale
• blender
• all conceivable kitchen utensils and cutlery

Downstairs it is always nice and cool, even in the summer. We have 3 bedrooms for a total of 6 people, and a large bathroom with sauna. Two bedrooms are furnished with double beds (2 mattresses of 200x80 cm and 2 mattresses of 200x90 cm respectively) and have patio doors to the outside.
One bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds (200x90 cm).
A cot with mattress (120x60 cm) is available.

The large bathroom has a sink, toilet, bath, shower, towel dryer, sauna, washing machine and hair dryer.

It is often cool on the balcony in the summer, while you can enjoy the sun on the terrace . The terrace has a dining table, 2 benches, 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers, parasol and bbq. From our terrace you have a wonderful view of Dachstein-West (Bischofsmütze). The garden is fenced and next to the front door is the ski locker.

In the village of Annaberg (5 minutes by car) there is a bakery, a butcher and a supermarket.

Restaurants are within walking distance of our house, including 'Gasthof Dolomitenhof' and the 'Holzer Hutte', or a short distance by car ('Winterstellgut' is 10 minutes by car).
