Alpendorf Penthouse Hirschkogel is one of 5 apartments in a luxuriously built complex called Chalet Hirschkogel and can accommodate up to 10 people and 2 cars (2 parking spaces) . The complex is located at an altitude of 800 meters in Alpendorf next to the gondola. Alpendorf, the valley station of the gondola and the slopes can be reached on foot or by skiing via a gentle 250-metre long path opposite the house. You walk back home via this path.   You come from here   in the 210 kilometers of slopes and snow-sure Snow-Space-Salzburg ski area and you will find excellent ski schools for young and old, ski and bicycle rental, a small shop for groceries, etc. Alpendorf is a real ski-in, ski-out location with a blue valley run.
In Alpendorf there are very good and affordable restaurants, both in the village and in the mountains.
For example, you can pick up pizzas and meals, but also enjoy a delicious culinary experience.
You can reach the Penthouse via the stairwell or the elevator. From the apartment you can walk onto the mostly covered terrace and enjoy the view to the southwest and the surrounding mountains. In the morning the sun already hits the terrace and stays here until late in the evening until it disappears behind the mountains again. The terrace has a cozy corner sofa with table where you can enjoy the day with friends or family. All bedrooms have a TV and in the living room there is also Netflix (own account) and a Chromecast. If you want to enjoy the sun on the terrace, you will find sun loungers and a sofa where you can settle down with a snack and drink. The penthouse is really equipped with all comforts and spacious and luxuriously furnished. A special detail is the beautiful loft where the 4th bedroom and the second bathroom are located. The loft has a luxurious sofa bed, but also a TV to which you can connect a game console. The vide can be screened off with a curtain.

If the 2 cots are used, please bring your own bed linen. A stair gate and 1 high chair are available. (maximum 2 babies up to 1 year can join for free)

After a day of skiing, cycling or walking, you can enjoy the wellness area of the complex, where you will find a wonderful sauna (for a small fee in the coin machine, use a 2.00 euro coin).

In the basement you will find a heated ski cellar with shoe dryers.
There is also a shared washing machine and dryer with a €1 euro coin machine. Here you will also find an ironing board.

New is the new Panorama link that connects Wagrain and Kleinarl/Flauchauwinkl, in Flachauwinkl you can take the free shuttle bus (3 minutes) to Zauchensee, so you have 210 kilometers of slopes. In 2023 a new lift is planned "the Winkl Link" which will replace the shuttle bus (not final yet).

Alpendorf is part of St Johann im Pongau and is located in the heart of the Salzburgerland so that you are very centrally located in both winter and summer.
Around Alpendorf you will find a lot of sights, lifts, beautiful klammen and hiking or mountain biking opportunities. In winter, the ski area of Alpendorf/Wagrain/Flachau is at your feet. Particularities;

• Due to the tranquility, the apartment is not rented to groups of young people.
• pets are not allowed.
• maximum 2 parking spaces (several cars must be parked elsewhere in the village)
• there is no possibility to charge an electric car yet.
• take care of snow chains in winter !!!
• The Salzburgerlandcard is not included in the price, but the SalzburgerSportwelt discount card is.
