The center of Kötschach with the Pfarrkirche Kötschach that stands proudly above the other buildings. They also call this church the Gailtaler Dom.
In addition to the Aquarena, there is also a natural swimming pool on the edge of Mauthen. Wonderful in the summer!
The Gail flows right through Kötschach-Mauthen and is ideal for water sports activities such as rafting.
Kötschach is located in the Gailtal, clearly visible from the Lamprechtbauer on the Plöckenpass.
A beautiful view in the mountains near Nassfeld. Perfect for hiking in summer and skiing in winter.
The Weissensee is not far from Kötschach. In winter the setting for iceskating and in summer it's also a paradise.
The area around Kötschach-Mauthen is a hiking enthusiast's paradise. This is near the Valentinalm.
Do you want to have dinner at the Ödenhütte? You can walk all the way up here (or come by car) and then - while having dinner - enjoy this view with Casa Nostra in the valley.
