Reisach is located in the Gail valley, approximately halfway between Hermagor with its famous bathing resort 'Presseggensee' and the 'Bergsteigerdorf' Kötschach-Mauthen. Studio Hauser is part of an old farm. There are three other, larger apartments. The apartments and the studio have their own entrance. The studio has a comfortable sofa bed (140x190 cm), a kitchenette with two hotplates, grill-oven/microwave, Nespresso machine and electric kettle, and an en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a south-facing balcony. Bed linen and bath towels are included in the price. Please bring your own swimming towels. NB: Pets are not allowed in the studio.

Besides beautiful walks in the forests and on the surrounding mountains, there are many other activities possible in the fresh, healthy mountain air. But of course you can also relax in the Gail Valley, the world's first Slow Food Travel Destination.

The forest is less than 100m from us and there are many fantastic walks to be had. There is plenty to do in the area, from llama trekking to parasailing, canyoning and white water rafting. Nassfeld, southern Austria's largest ski resort with more than 100km of slopes, is a 12-minute drive away and in summer there is even a summer bobsleigh track. An 18 hole golf course is 6 minutes away from us. And don't forget the Carnic High Road with its many side roads that lead to the most beautiful mountain lakes (Zollnersee, Wolayersee), countless hospitable alpine huts and unparalleled views. A natural swimming pool is also nearby (free for our guests) and of course you can also swim in the Gail.

Renata and Nico, your hosts, are a retired (sort of) professional couple who enjoy meeting new people and providing them hospitality in our beautiful converted former farm house. Nico is originally from Holland and Renata from Slovakia, so we cover a range of languages between us. We've both had long, international, careers in the pharmaceutical industry. Cancellation policy:
If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 6 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between 6 months and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: deposit
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.
