Reisach is located in the valley of the Gail River, about halfway between Hermagor with its well-known bathing resort "Presseggensee" and the "Bergsteigerdorf" Kötschach-Mauthen. Studio Hauser is part of an old farmhouse. There are three other apartments. The apartments have their own entrance. Studio Hauser has a comfortable Italian sofa bed (17 cm mattress thickness) on 20 m2. There is a kitchenette, with 2 hotplates, fridge freezer, microwave combi oven/grill, Nespresso machine and electric kettle. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet. The south-facing balcony has a magnificent view of the Carnic Alps. Bed linen and bath towels are included in the price. Please bring your own swimming towels. Due to its size, the studio is NOT suitable for pets.

In addition to beautiful walks in the woods and on the surrounding mountains, there are many other activities possible in the fresh, healthy mountain air. But of course you can also relax in the Gail valley, the world's first Slow Food Travel Destination.

The forest is less than 100m from us and there are many fantastic walks to make. There are plenty of things to do in the area, from llama trekking to parasailing, canyoning and white water rafting. Nassfeld, southern Austria's largest ski area with over 100km of slopes, is an 11-minute drive away and there's even a summer bobsleigh run in summer. An 18 hole golf course is located 6 minutes from us. And let's not forget the Carnic Hohenweg with its many side roads that lead to the most beautiful mountain lakes (Zollnersee, Wolayersee) and offer unrivalled views. Numerous hospitable alpine huts will be happy to welcome you for a classic Jause. A natural swimming pool is also nearby (free for our guests) and of course you can also swim in the Gail.

Renata and Nico, your hosts, are a retired (sort of) professional couple who enjoy meeting new people and providing them hospitality in our beautiful converted former farm house. Nico is originally from Holland and Renata from Slovakia, so we cover a range of languages between us. We've both had long, international, careers in the pharmaceutical industry. Cancellation policy:
If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 6 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between 6 months and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: deposit
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.
