Enjoy your holiday all year round and enjoy the ever-changing views of the beautiful mountains and the large valley that is so typical of Austria. Add to that the good climate of Carinthia, a very nice house and you have all the ingredients for a top holiday.
The house has three floors, a separate sauna, two terraces and a spacious open backyard. It is a newly built house with modern, Austrian furnishings. Carinthia Holiday Villa is a semi-detached holiday home in a row of eight holiday homes in the quiet village of Seltschach.
Through the closed hall you enter the modern kitchen, equipped with a fridge-freezer combination, induction hob and extractor hood. The kitchen/diner has sufficient storage options due to extra (empty) cupboards. The open dining room has an Austrian corner sofa and a light wooden table. In the living room you can rock in the rocking chair or stretch out and watch Netflix on the small smart TV from the sofa. Or of course drink a glass of wine and beer together, cozy by the wood stove.
Under the open staircase is a cupboard filled with books, games and information about the area.
You walk to the first floor via the open staircase. Here you will find the blue bedroom on the right with a bed, a table to work on and a comfortable armchair. The simple box spring bed can be converted into a double bed or you can use it as two separate single beds.
The bathroom is separate from this room. The bathroom has a corner shower with water-saving shower head, toilet and sink.
On the left you will find the brown bedroom with a double bed, an open bathroom with a spacious bath, toilet and sink. You can walk straight from the room into the bathroom. You can slide the simple box spring beds together or place them separately.
You reach the sleeping attic via a staircase. Here are three simple box-spring beds, each equipped with their own bedside lamp and a cupboard for the clothes of the guests who sleep here.
At the entrance you will also find the third toilet, a washer-dryer combination and the boiler. The house is natural gas-free and well insulated
At the front of the house you will find a lovely coffee terrace for your first coffee in the sun. A robust picnic set is on the grass and from here you have the most beautiful view of the Dobratsch.
You walk through the carport to the barrel sauna, which faces the house, so you have privacy when you walk out of the sauna. The barrel sauna is made in a round shape, allowing you to make optimal use of the heat of the sauna.
Next to the barrel sauna is the shed with storage space for skis. There is the second terrace with a view of the three-country point. Here is a dining table with eight chairs. The open garden is connected to the gardens of 192 and 191, giving you an unobstructed view.
The house is suitable for one to a maximum of seven people. The house was built in 2020-2021 under the management of a Dutch company and carried out under the supervision of an Austrian architectural firm and Austrian construction company. The management is in the hands of a local entrepreneur, who also has a Stube on the slopes.
The living room has plants (real) and at the back of the garden you will find a small but growing wooded bank as a natural barrier.
Together with Debby van Wezelenburg we decorated the house in a Feng Shui way.
