Spend your holiday all year round and enjoy the ever-changing views of the beautiful mountains and the large valley that is so typical of Austria. Add to that the good climate of Carinthia, a very nice house and you have all the ingredients for a top holiday, also for winter sports enthusiasts.
The house has three floors, a separate sauna, two terraces and a spacious open backyard. It is a newly built house with a modern, Austrian décor. Carinthia Holiday Villa is a semi-detached holiday home in a row of eight holiday homes in the quiet village of Seltschach.
Through the closed hall you enter the modern kitchen, equipped with a fridge-freezer, induction hob and extractor hood. The kitchen has sufficient tidying options due to extra cupboards, which are empty. The open plan dining room has an Austrian corner sofa and a light wooden table. In the living room you can swing in the rocking chair or watch Netflix on the small smart TV from the sofa. Or of course drink a glass of wine and beer together, cozy by the wood stove.
Under the open staircase is a cupboard filled with various books, many games and information about the area in a folder.
You walk to the first floor via the open staircase. Here you will find the blue bedroom on the right with a bed, a table to work at and a comfortable armchair. The simple box-spring bed can be converted into a double bed or you can use it as two separate single beds.
The bathroom is separate from this room. The bathroom has a corner shower with water-saving shower head, water-saving toilet and sink with cupboard.
On the left you will find the brown bedroom with a double bed, an open bathroom with generous bath, toilet and sink. You can walk straight from the room into the bathroom. The simple box spring beds can be pushed together or placed separately. This room has patio doors to the spacious balcony.
A steep staircase leads to the sleeping loft. Here are three simple box-spring beds, each with their own bedside lamp and a closet for the clothes of the guests who sleep here. All box spring beds are equipped with at least two pillows, two types of duvets (winter and summer) and an extra fleece blanket. The bedding, which you can rent, is white and this also includes the bottom sheet.
At the entrance you will also find the third toilet, a washer-dryer and the boiler. The house is natural gas-free and well insulated, equipped with shutters.
At the front of the house you will find a lovely coffee terrace for the first coffee in the sun. A robust picnic set is on the grass and from here you have the most beautiful view of the Dobratsch. There is a movable parasol available.
Through the carport you walk to the barrel sauna which is oriented towards the house, giving you privacy when you walk out of the sauna. The barrel sauna is made in a round shape so you can make optimal use of the heat of the sauna.
Next to the barrel sauna is the shed with storage space for skis. There is the second terrace with a view of the border triangle. Here is a dining table with eight chairs, a movable parasol. The open garden is connected to the gardens of 192 and 191.
The house is suitable for one to a maximum of seven people. The house was built in 2020-2021 under the direction of a Dutch company and carried out under the supervision of an Austrian architectural firm and Austrian construction company. The management is in the hands of a local entrepreneur, who also has a Stube on the track.
Together with Debby van Wezelenburg we decorated the house in a Feng Shui way.
