Sheila and Jan, thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful holiday home again. This time from December 27 to January 3. Had a wonderful week, with exceptionally high temperatures for the time of year. Despite the rain showers, you can take long walks in the forest directly adjacent to the park where you can wander for hours without meeting anyone. Enjoyed the birds and squirrels in the garden and on the last day even 2 deer who curiously came to take a look in the garden. The peace and quiet around New Year's Eve has done us good. You do hear fireworks, but compared to our living environment, they are negligible. Again, the holiday home made us feel at home. You can see that you spend a lot of time on maintenance. It still looks beautiful, everything is well maintained and clean (!) and there was even a wood stove installed. Truly luxurious. It was fantastic again! We are already looking forward to our next stay in May.

What a nice holiday home! We will definitely be back. There is plenty to do for our kids at the park. Highly recommended!

Drenthe is beautiful.

What else do we need to add to our previous reviews?
Everything is really there, well maintained house and the landlords are a good host and hostess.

This was not the last time we have been here.

Rabbits and squirrels who come to take a look, not to mention the woodpeckers. Cottage is complete for a perfect holiday drenthe.

For the 2nd time I spent a 14 day holiday in De 7 Bergen. On arrival we found a very clean holiday home and were welcomed with a lovely welcome card and bottle of wine. And also spoke to Landlady Sheila. We felt right back at home. We had a great time again, both in the area and in and around the holiday home. A pleasure to see and hear all kinds of birds in the garden. And because of the beautiful weather we cycled a lot in the varied surroundings. And at night you can sleep soundly on the comfortable beds. In short, highly recommended! Jan and Sheila thank you for your hospitality and see you next time 👍

Dear Sheila and Jan,
We thought the photos of your house were already very promising, but were still pleasantly surprised on arrival: it is even more beautiful in real life. And it immediately felt like home, so warm, well-kept and practically furnished. And even with a giant bird restaurant and enough food, so we could observe many new species on a daily basis.

We had a wonderful week: slept wonderfully, walked and cycled a lot in the woods, sailed in Giethoorn and every time we returned we rested in the sun in the garden. And even on that one rainy day, it was no punishment to stay inside, with the home magazines, movies and games.
Thank you again for sharing this place.

This is a very nice house with a great garden. Very attractive and practically furnished. Good beds. We have lacked nothing. We had a great week.

This is really a very nice, comfortable and cozy house. It is beautifully situated in a large garden and lots of privacy. Downstairs you have a large living room and a beautiful, practical kitchen with plenty of crock and cutle...

This is really a very nice, comfortable and cozy house. It is beautifully situated in a large garden and lots of privacy. Downstairs you have a large living room and a beautiful, practical kitchen with plenty of crock and cutlery. Also nice that you have a microwave and an oven at your disposal. It is very nicely decorated! Upstairs it is fine with two spacious bedrooms. The downstairs bathroom is also fine and spacious. In short, nothing to complain about and a "comeback" as far as we are concerned!!
