A bit of a struggle in the shower (small and fluctuating temperatures due to pumping up water) but really a beautiful place for two people with reasonable to nice weather.

Le Piolan is a fantastic place if you like peace and nature. The view is amazing. The cottage is full of character, soberly furnished and special in every way. There's something very nice about that.

What a lovely house in a fantastic place. Gave us a particularly free feeling in the middle of nature. The view remained impressive. With Forcalquier nearby, we enjoyed small-scale and artistic activity. Highly recommended. The weather was against us, which dampened our enthusiasm somewhat. But overall we would love to come back again!

We enjoyed the peace, the nature, the lovely cottage where there is a lot available.
Views, birds, surroundings, we have spent four wonderful weeks here and will definitely be back!

A special house in a very beautiful place. The space around the house is also lovely. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful starry sky with lots of shooting stars. Cute "pets": a fat toad, a limping deer and of course large spiders, wasps and cicadas. A container with fruit waste ensures that the wasps pounce on it and do not interfere with your food.

Lovely holiday home for those who love peace, simplicity, nature and privacy. We thought this was a really good weather house, but fortunately the weather is very often good in Provence! :) The house itself is on the small side...

Lovely holiday home for those who love peace, simplicity, nature and privacy. We thought this was a really good weather house, but fortunately the weather is very often good in Provence! :) The house itself is on the small side (especially for 4p), but fully furnished. The beautiful surroundings are ideal for all kinds of cycling and walking tours. We are therefore happy to make the gpx routes available. The towns of Forcalquier, Lurs, Sisteron and Les Penitents de les Mées are also well worth a visit. And don't forget to take a walk through the very nearby geological nature reserve Les Mourres: reminded us of Sardinia. Thanks for a nice week, Françoise!

Spent almost a week alone in this lovely place. Everything is there and so much beauty to experience. Yoga, walking, reading, rest and a fantastic view of the starry sky also at night. I missed swimming a bit, unfortunately the pools were already closed and the nearest clear blue lake was too big a descent for me to climb in and out. If you can take the pool with you next time it will be complete:-) Thank you for sharing your house, I left some books, tea and honey. Greetings Jakomiena

Le Piolan is located in an almost magical place. We spent a week under the shady conifer reading, eating, drinking and playing pétanque, while enjoying the view, and could have continued for a very long time. The house gives you a primal feeling, especially the special kitchen, in which you can cook very well. The separate 'yoga terrace' with beautiful views - for all your exercises in the morning shade - was an instant hit in our family. Some minor inconveniences (no wifi, tables where tall people can't get their legs under, for example) but on the other hand there was the great enjoyment of the house, the terraces and the surroundings (Forcalquier, for example, is a beautiful town). We had a wonderful week, and would love to come back again.
