We went with three families to Casa Elide for a week. This beautiful house is very nicely located, ideal when you want complete peace and quiet and want to get away from a lot of tourism and hustle and bustle.
The host and hostess are very accessible and the communication is excellent. You could always ask them for information and help. Cleanliness was also sublime; 11/10 or more.

If you love nature, this place is really perfect. There were even badgers to be spotted in the garden. Highly recommended!

You really have to have a car, because a larger supermarket is 20 minutes by car. of the house and the nicer little villages also min. half an hour's drive.

We had very hot weather so the pool was fantastic! The house stays pretty cool and there are air conditioners in the bedrooms so you sleep well at night.

Our 3-year-old child also felt right at home. Lots of space to play. The pool is at a good distance from the house so that he was not suddenly on the edge.

The setting is beautiful. A week full of Italian views, picturesque villages, fresh food and delicious restaurants!

A great house, tastefully decorated, in a beautiful location. Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. The hostess who receives you speaks very good English and helped us well with the mediation at a garage for the purchase of two car tires. Very useful if you don't speak Italian yourself. The facilities of the house are very good, in fact everything is there.
We were 6 adults and 5 children and had also rented the studio. This was, like the house, nicely decorated, neat and clean. All beds were equipped with a mosquito net, really a must for the mosquitoes. The only downside to the location, although this was not a problem for us in a week, was that the nearest village for the smaller children was not really within walking distance. We once hiked to Tarano with the bigger boys, 13,11 and 7. What a beautiful setting! That is really doable in a good half hour if you walk briskly. In Tarano itself there is nothing except a restaurant/café where you can drink a good cappuccino and where they also have a mini supermarket in the back with essentials.
We only drove to Montebuono by car, in the Coop you can do your shopping. The butcher in a street opposite is really good (no pin). And at the Pizzeria you can pick up pizzas (no pin).
So the advantage of the quiet and secluded location can also be a disadvantage. Depending on the length of your visit and the travel group. For a week we didn't think it was a problem. The weather also played a role in this. We were there at the end of July and it was very hot, in the morning it was a bit cooler and we were a bit more active (some of us went for a run in the morning), but in the afternoon we thought it was really too hot for this and the pool was our favorite place.

we rented this house to make a film from here in and around Rome for the big 'Withoos' exhibition in museum Flehite Amersfoort at the end of 2021. The owner has helped us fantastically with the search for locations. And around the house on the beautiful estate we were also able to make perfect shows, in addition, it was a great place to retreat in peace after a day of work, p.s. the pool is lovely, I can't post photos yet but the film will certainly be visible in time

We had a wonderful week in Casa Elise.With our children and grandchildren we enjoyed the beautiful house, the beautiful surroundings and of course the swimming pool.
