We had a wonderful week in this villa; beautiful area where it smells of pine, rosemary etc... Every morning it's wonderful to smell that scent after a good night's sleep. The beds sleep well and many doors and windows have mosquito nets, which also benefits the night's sleep. No nuisance from mosquitoes at night.
Close to the villa is a cycle path where you can also run! Furthermore, the swimming pool is top notch. So a mini-triathlon is within reach for the sporty holidaymaker. Bicycle rental is possible; Great bikes.

Stayed in Lugar do Pego for a week at the end of August. Had a lovely, quiet week. The house has been completely renovated and beautifully built in authentic style. Location is outside the village. Very little traffic in the vicinity. The house has a quiet modern décor. Is fully equipped and looks clean. Just doesn't have air conditioning, so it's hot at night (with day temperature of 35C). View is beautiful. At this (September) time, the trees in the garden are full of figs. Close to nice cities, Viseu and Coimbra. Beach and nature reserve are an hour and fifteen minutes drive away. To the beach that is easy to do. Within 1 minute you can cycle on the eco pista and you can cycle to Viseu. Nice bike ride!
Owner is really hospitable, wants you to have a good time and does everything she can!! Photos on the website show a very realistic picture. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the ideal address.
